@@barricade-wb3wu6ws2u this was originally a ex border patrol bar, before it was re configured. From my understanding it was to allow for maintaining battery charge while the vehicle was not in use

Why do strobes make that sound? I imagine it must have something to do with the circuit that builds up enough voltage to fire off a flash every second or so in each light. Like an old-style camera electronic flash with that high pitched sound right after you take a picture. Kind of a wierd but neat sound. On old "COPS" episodes you can hear them whenever they're right next to a cruiser.

This is just preset modes, the pattern button is on the quad converter

I wish I could find one I’d pay a lot for one. I haven’t seen one in use in like 10 years. I don’t remember what it’s like compared to a standard LED bar. I know when the LEDs came out, they were easier to see in the day, and at night the light hitting trees, walls, etc. would go further, and the LEDs were bluer too. However, at night, looking directly at the light bar, it seems like the xenon bar itself was a lot brighter, just more instantly bright, and it got your attention a lot quicker too. I miss seeing them. So nostalgic, I miss the good ol’ days of Crown Victorias, especially, Expeditions, some of the 05-10 Chargers, and 99-06 and 07-14 Tahoes, with Xenon police lights.

@@fiafighterdude I suppose! Would they want that many lights and lightbars to display though? Seems to be a particular museum that wouldn't have the largest clientele, and as a result, a small budget to house such an expansive collection on top of all of the other firefighting memorabilia and items that they want to display.
