This is fondant. But I am sure you can do in modeling chocolate too

@BakeCakeDesign thank you so much! Also do you have any tips on how to get the fondant to stick to the fondant tools? I tried to use the rolling pin to shape a plate and the modelling tool to make a cup, but it doesn't seem to adhere to the rolling pin or the tool which makes it difficult to shape. I'm grateful for any help😊

@user-ij7kn8yx2d I think it’s because of the oil in the modeling chocolate. Try dusting with a little powdered sugar or cornstarch.

@@BakeCakeDesign so what is happening to me is the opposite of what you are saying, as in its not sticking at all. I want it to stay on the tools. My fondant is not dry but it keeps moving around. Do you suggest maybe using vegetable shortening?

@user-ij7kn8yx2d if that’s the case, s, definitely a little shortening or a little water with a lot of kneading will do the trick

I don’t freeze them, but I make sure that they are cold enough before decorating

Do you mind sharing your rice crispy recipe - mine always goes soft when left out on counter - would never hold this shape

I never measure, but start with a 1:1 ratio and add more Rice Krispies to adjust the consistency. Always remember, it will become more hard as it becomes cold. So do it quickly as possible, without burning your hands ❤️

Thia will not work. There is no mica therfore it wont stick. It will to wet gum paste but leave ugly results and flowers will move and fall apart

That’s edible glaze which we can buy from cake stores, or simply use vegetable oil, if the function is just hours away. You may have to reapply the oil, after some hours ❤️

@@BakeCakeDesign I had never in my life made a fondue cake. I hope i succeed . I just want to be a gloss. Today her bday oh man don't have time to buy . Oil.. won't it taste ugly . Is that the only way to make it a glossy look after the fondue

@@loonaticloomer7809 it will not at all taste bad, just use a neutral oil like sunflower or canola, which don’t have a taste of its own ❤️ You will do awesome ❤️

When you put the gelatin over the ganache, does it solidify without refrigeration? And how long does it last at room temperature?I'm Brazilian and I don't speak English. I wrote by Google. I need to make a water effect cake to be exposed for a day at room temperature. Please reply

The solidification depends on the climate. If it’s cold enough at room temperature, it will solidify by itself. But if it’s warm, please keep it in fridge for 20 minutes at least.
