Equity? Wouldn't that be 'financial equality'? You want equity? There's only one way. Everybody get exactly the same amount of money at the start of every year. Then when people screw up their lives they can't blame anyone, nor anything on equity and/or equality. Sound ridiculous? Not any more ridiculous than the morons pushing equity and/or equality. There's only one venue for equity and/or equality, and that is dealings of 'people versus persons', more specifically the governmental Corporation known generally as 'the State'

I have read through some of these comments and there seems to be arguments against equity based on people who work harder should get more. I don't disagree with this in principle, but how are we qualifying "hard work"? There are already mechanisms in place to address this (hourly workers paid more based upon the number of hours, or salaried employees paid on bonuses). Access to the tools for everyone to do a job still doesn't mean that everyone WILL...so there is still room for "high achievers" to do so. What am I missing here?

I always thought it was good. ...but since others have a different definition of the word than I have, I'm sometimes hesitant to use it. generalization....means the majority of times or quite a bit....but not all. Stereotypes are wrong. They're lies and twisted truths to make a certain group of ppl look bad. Stereotypes was created during slavery....falsehoods and lies were said about the slaves so ppl wouldn't think of them as fully human...a widespread lie was said that blacks had tails...and ppl would often look at their backsides to see signs of it.

0:48 I apologize in advance for this long of a read i am still trying to get better at articulating or correctly framing my use of words when talking about meta, cenceptual, perceptual, topics and or ways of speaking and or thinking... in short (thoughts about afterthoughts and forethoughts affects and effects when different portions(aspects/parts) of each are intertwined with eachother... im long winded cause i dont know how much or what parts of my explanations are actually connecting with other people. Also not sure how to tell if its connecting cause its completely inexperiencable with any senses outside of the mind as far as i know unless of course its being actively experienced in person... I think that based on your frame of perception generalizations are stereotypical and that stereotypes are wrongfully stereotyped based on the perceptual outlook on or towards life. Based on each individuals different experiences they will all tend to differ cause it is commonly perceived in society that we are all different from eachother and thus the opposite is either projected or reflected to be true as well. The opposite being summed up as since we are all different from eachother then none of us are the same which then refracts as another way of saying this is since we are all different from eachother then nobody shares any similarities or since we all are different from eachother then no symmetry exists within any 2 things... but if you think about it not from your own perspective but from outside of your perspective then you will realize that by applying hurtful to stereotypes and helpful to generalizations your making a mistake. Because its a repeat of the first original sin... dont eat of the fruit of knowledge over whats good and evil. In my words this translates to knowledge is good think of whatever you want have whatever you desire but dont delve into the branch of knowledge aka rabbit hole of knowledge that decides what is good and what is bad cause in that branch you will find a big difference a wide varieties of opinions on ehats good vs whats bad... its called pandoras box or schrodengers cat is yet another example... if im not making sense in my explanation the only other thing i can say to help is to learn what placebo and nocebo both are and how they have been used experimentally and have been observed and then apply it to what the majority vs the minority vs the individual beliefs and think about how placebo and nocebo can be and are constantly being used by everyone to form reality as we all know it to be. Can't say much more than that. If it atill makes no sense then my guess is we live in 2 different realities and thisll just serve as another prime proof of quantum realities existence and since everything is matter of mind and a mind is of matter then all of reality and none of reality are both determined by what is being focused on and the focusing itself filters through what doesnt exist and does exist. So out of site out of mind is everything that is nothing aka non-existent and in sight in mind is everything that is believed to exist since seeing is believing. Ps... anyone got tips to help me confide in others comprehensabilty and or my ability to shortly simply and successfully explain thoughts and other things i think i thunk about to much.

So are we just ignoring the other definition of racism that's older and widely recognized around the world in favor of this newer one? What a load of hogwash. People of color can be racist. Full stop.

Several problems with the "prejudice + power" argument. 1. It violates every law, policy, and constitutional right that guarantees equal treatment and protection. 2. It's a stipulative definition fallacy that completely disregards interpersonal discrimination and prejudice. 3. The very statement ironically uses power by acting as an authority to determine what qualifies as discrimination, making it a self-fulfilling paradox. 4. It completely omits and undermines all progress and efforts to rectify the original injustice. 5. It relies on the same excuses and justifications that created the oppressor/victim situation it aims to correct, which is a "two wrongs make a right" fallacy. 6. Human social interactions are complex and ever-changing, which means that social and political power can only be evaluated and quantified on a case-by-case basis.

The problem with the analogy of the baseball game viewers is that it assumes a) a focus only on benefits received, rather than value produced, and b) that the outcomes are purely driven by naturally determined characteristics (height in this case). This is rare in reality. Wealth, social status, education, employment all depend at least partly on diligence, so you shouldn’t compensate lazy people by bringing them up to the level of hardworking ones. This is even more relevant in the corporate world, where equity is now being promoted: why would a for-profit company want to ensure that its least skilled, least productive, laziest staff get “equity” with the most valuable, skilled, hardworking staff? That’s a great recipe for destroying morale and losing those most valuable employees!

This is stupidity. What you described is communism /socialism. Take from the people who worked hard and became rich, and distribute out to those who do not willing to work hard. You guys got this from a communist’s play book. Been there , seen it. That is why I ran away from there. If you want to be “equity” , just knock fence Don then! Moronic people!

The issue I have repeatedly witnessed first hand (in using the example of three people along the fence), is this: 'What happens the following week when they all go to see a game and There Is No Fence?' Nobody needs an extra box, right?? Wrong. Here is what happens: The person who received the extra help to see the first game over the fence is going to expect the same thing Every Time whether they need it or not. In many ways, it teaches people to become more dependent on someone or something else, rather than seeking a solution that serves their own individual needs. It does not empower people. Instead, it destroys their self-confidence. Equity is already being displayed in our society. In terms of medicine, we do not give insulin to everybody. We only give it to those with diabetes. Some members of my family receive government assistance for meals. However, I don't get assistance because I don't need it. We cannot expect the blanket use of equity alone to solve our problems. It will further divide us and weaken our communities.

0:46 Ah yes, the famous standing on boxes to look over the fence cartoon. There's so much wrong with this I don't even know where to start. First, it just assumes that these boxes fell out of the sky and no one's responsible for building boxes, but let's not go down that rabbit hole. I'll say this, if I drag my ass out of bed at the buttcrack of dawn and show up to the game 5 hours early to ensure that I get one of the limited number of boxes available, there's no way in hell I'm sharing my box with a man who's three feet tall but still only pulled up to the fence five minutes before the game started. You know your three feet tall. You know you need a box. If anyone should be motivated to get down to the field early enough to claim a box it should be you so get off your lazy azz and do what you have to in order to be sure you get to the field before I and others and claim your box. Otherwise, you get no box and that's your problem. I don't know where you people got the idea that the world owes you a damn box. Let me help you out with this one, Jr. It doesn't.
