This video should be called „The Saginaw River“, as it shows more of that than the town. I lived there for four years and hardly recognized anything.

This Bay City exists only on one side of the Saginaw River, the east side. As I remember my parents' hometown, there were many houses and buildings on the west side of the river as well (as it used to be an independent town of its own).

For years I've seen videos of Downtown Columbus skyline.....This is the BEST one yet!!!🙂

Thanks for sharing. Was born and raised on the West Side - left in 1973. Video brings back some good memories, as it was a nice place to live. Lots of buildings are now gone.

I miss my home town, Port Huron. I haven't been there to visit in about seven years, but made many, many trips back since my family moved to S Florida in 1959. It's not nearly the same as when I lived there since many beautiful buildings have been torn down, but thanks to the Historical Society, many have been preserved and restored and for that I am grateful. It really upset me to learn that the old railroad bridge at the mouth of the Black River was scrapped earlier this year. It was a landmark and in many people's estimation, an historic treasure that bore testimony to the unique railroad industry that prospered this wonderful city. My dad was a wheelsman on the rail car ferries that operated just south of the bridge where Vantage Point now stands.

I'd like to get permission to use this. Maybe get the raw video. Who do I contact??

The dowtown is alive again! Now, it s time for the nieghbourhoods around! Many of them still empty but hope new young resident bought old properties (that are cheap if compare them to another big cities) and all those empty hoods will be full of life again!

I lived in Windsor and worked in Detroit from 1998-2001. It's great to see that the downtown is making a comeback and many of those beautiful buildings are being restored. I really hope the job market is strong enough to support this rejuvenation. Also, as a new drone pilot, I commend you on your excellent footage! I have a DJI Mini 3 Pro and I'm really enjoying it. Very nice video. Very scenic. Next time make some comparisons either with other cities that boarder lakes and rivers. An area of interest is the riverfront. Just a suggestion.🤨
