Totally agree. Also, the little Eldris is so underrated. I've used mine like crazy and gave 3 others as gifts to non-knife people who ended up loving them and using them for everything from camping to house and garden chores.

I am going to treat myself to a Garberg stainless in Dala red at Christmas for heavier tasks. Keep on doing what you are doing the world needs you. ❤

I like to use mine for woodworking. The thick blade makes such nice splits. A little tap and and the whole chunk comes off until the line where I did saw. Also rough carving works well enough. It also glides better on wood than the stainless version. For details I prefer the 120LC.

I didn't know it's a limited edition when I bought it, so I went and added some leather for stropping to the sheath and ground the spine. But I still carry it in my backpack and it performs nicely for the how little it weighs. It did do well for cutting some sowing yarn and cord, opening packages, making fire, carving whatever I need, fixing sharp seams on cheap plastic items, collecting herbs and food and for shaving some hair off my arm before applying a band aid to a chafed spot. And with a bit of care, it seems to last as long as I want.
