Great photography. Also a reminder to fish the water that is right at your feet. Not all of the trout are on the far bank.

That's just great fishing. Classical stuff. Well done.

that last brown looked like he's seen a few man made hoppers before, and has the scars to prove it. High summer is a lot of fun on the Goulburn, but Autumn is my favourite. Love the footage.

Indeed he did and needed three different patterns before being coaxed back to a trout lolly again.

Bang on @chrish3030 - I just spent the last two days fishing the Meander above Huntsman Dam to Deloraine and it was one of the most miserable fisheries I've experienced in 50 years of fishing. I've fished all over the world and know how to find and catch fish, and there were hardly any to be found. I turned over a lot of rocks looking for bugs and found a few, but only few. I just don't think there are many fish in this river anymore and I guess that is why I saw nobody else fishing here, up and down the river. Sad.
@chrish30306 ай бұрын
Very sad, people have no idea about the real health of the river, like you did go and turn some rocks over and see for yourself. The couple of spots he fished have very limited wading opportunities due to high water levels. This river is no longer the natural environment it was before the dam went in. It is becoming a drainage ditch for farmers. Surely publications like flylife should be presenting a realistic picture.

Great film! The water reminds me of waters I've fished in the Tatra Mts (Slovakia) and the Brownies look a lot like the Norwegian Browns. I'll be in Tasmania in December and can't wait to wet my line!

It is better to use the felt cloth to check the manufactured barbless hook or not because you can identify the crashed barbless hook with the felt fabric.
