3:27 Me too, i did the same thing but to a sevylor quickpak k1 inflatable kayak (like $140 on eBay/Amazon). I thought i was going to look very getho, weird, or shady looking. So i was so surprised that the crate box just made it look more professional 🤣. After i saw the pictures of my boat in the water the thought came to my mind "if somebody were to see me and pay attention to me they'd probably think that i know what I'm doing, but i was a complete noob.

As a resident of Fairmont, I would suggest fishing Budd and Hall Lake. Amber has a little more structure for fish, along with that whole West side of Sisseton for targeting Bass. We are mostly known anymore for the Yellow Bass that are taking over our lakes, sad to say.

I know this video is from last year, but I have been watching your channel now for a few days. (I'm new to the aluminum boat world) and I am just so impressed with your ability to make your vision come to life using the tools you have and the materials you have without going broke to make it happen. Great work keep it up. I'll keep watching.

Great ideas for the boat! I have a sylvan that is nearly identical and this is the best redesign I’ve seen. That gap between the front seat and the bow point is a waste of space. Like a lot of the comments on here I’m both happy to see young people doing this and feeling way too old 😂. Carry on gentlemen.

I have 2 of these. I only use them half a dozen times a year and they are great. Also because they are inflatable, they don’t take up a lot of space when deflated and come with a nice bag to hold it and all of the gear. If I was going to go it out on a regular basis I would definitely upgrade

Awesome Job Guys! I just bought a project boat and would like to know where you guys bought that light switch Bar? All the lighting? The Hinges for compartments? Did you brush the paint on the whole boat ? Where did you pick up Carpet? What brand of glue did you use? It looks like you also stapled Carpet as well as glue, is that Correct? Front Bow lights? Blue lights ? Small interior white lights, can you say where you got all these supplies? Did you use 5/8” or 1/2”plywood? What did you water proof plywood with? Thanks in advance!! And again Great Job👊🏻👊🏻

Amazing boat! you guys crushed it! I just saw a video worrying me a little about making sure I put enough sea foam in the boat if I add wood. How safe and secure would you say your boat feels after having it for awhile? I feel like if the weight doesn't exceed the boats weight capacity your fine right? Everyone I see making these boats seem to be doing fine with very minimal foam and doing fine with the pink foam sheeting under floor boards.
@MissionForFishing7 ай бұрын
Thanks, we’ve never had a problem with weight and decking yet. The pink foam is great to throw under deck is you feel it needs more flotation.

@prabbit2378 ай бұрын
I know this is an old video but if you're adding tubing to a crate like that, use a bottom cross piece. I.e. make it like a letter E turned sideways. It would have given it a LOT more strength/stability. The tubing would have done all the support and the zip ties simply would be needed to hold it against the create.
