Why the random sketches of a tanker with LNG? Little thought has been given to any sense of accuracy. Titanic's power output was not 50,000 HP, it was 46,000. 15,000 on each of two recip engines and 16,000 on the centre-line turbine, which incidentally was not built by Harland & Wolff, but was contracted out to John Brown's on the Clyde as H&W didn't have the facilities to manufacture it at that time. Very poor video.... certainly not worth a "like and subscribe"!

This video is crap. Besides a few, but much too short, exceptions the footage doesn't match the lectured facts. Which results in nothing more than a summery i also get by an ai supportet search engine.

Don’t bother, kids. There’s about one minute of good video here, padded out with 6 minutes of garbage video of other ships/things; and, the narration doesn’t tell you anything about what you see. Total Garbage work. F-

Umm . . . near the end of the video there is a picture of the Lusitania, one of her Cunard rivals and motivation for White Star's creation of the Olympic class vessels.
@pauljanssen75943 ай бұрын
If you study a little bit of a history about the Titanic and the Lusitania, and how the crew on supposedly the new brand new Titanic left because they knew they had swamps ships and that was the Lusitania renamed as a Titanic because the Lusitania was badly damaged but couldn't be fixed, show the greed of these bastards they scuttled that ship.

I spent some time in the Navy shipyards on the west coast, so ship construction always interests me! Too bad they were in such a rush to cross the atlantic, they might have noticed they were too far north! Adios Titanic

Nice video. Two minor nits to pick: 1) Titanic wasn't a clean sheet design, rather she was a refinement on RMS Olympic. That includes her engines and propulsion layout. 2) What's with the animations of a modern LNG powered cargo ship? I'd suggest either finding more footage of Titanic, Olympic or Britannic to replace it with, or explaining why it's relevant to a video about Titanic's propulsion systems.

Low effort, barely informative videos with scripts generated by AI are not getting any likes from me. I hit the like button on videos made by creators who care enough about a topic to do the deeper research needed to make meaningful factual content. Videos like this contain too little information to be interesting and make it harder for people trying to find higher quality content. That is why I refuse to encourage this kind of content by giving it a like.
