This experiment tells me that I could probably mix my Brusho watercolor powders with PM and/or Golden soft gloss gel. The watercolor powders might be less expensive than the ColourArte powders.

I’ve been wondering if I could do paint pouring with watercolor. Thanks for doing this! Lovely outcome too. But yes you used a lot of paint. Lol.

Hi Heather; I had a cousin named Hearther Wright.. Okay, I have been reading everything and watching a lot of amazing pours..let me say I love this painting medium.. I am so new to this and I wanted to find a way to not have to use toxic products or really smelly ones and I wasn't all that sure or confident about using a touch.. So, finally today, after much trail and error, I created cells in my painting.. You have no idea how pleased I was.. So, my recipe was 2 parts liquitex and 1 part paint and in my research someone was using olive oil to create cells.. So, today I gave it a try.. I was very pleased with the outcome.. I wanted to pass it along to you and your friends... Give it a try and see what you think... Cheers Karen.

What did you put on the middle of the album before painting?
@HeatherWrightArt
@HeatherWrightArt Жыл бұрын
@Lorraine Tapper That's one of the unfortunate things about using records, I'm afraid. But if you seal it with a flood coat of resin, most or all of the texture coming through will disappear.

I had heard that when we paint the composition showed be kept to odd numbers, the, 3, 5, 7 ext.
@HeatherWrightArt
@HeatherWrightArt Жыл бұрын
Yes, the theory is that odd numbers are more pleasing to the eye. While I do agree with this, sometimes rules can be broken in the most wonderful ways! Thanks so much for watching!

Hi Heather 👋🏻 good to see you here 😊 Missed your videos very much. This craft looks so cool 😎 I will definitely be trying this craft. It uses 2 things I love, color and plants. Thanks for sharing. Look forward to seeing your art. I’ve been trying out new art too. I’m learning how to make air dry clay appliqués in silicone molds to apply to furniture. I’m also going to try to learn watercolor painting. I’m going to experiment with resin art too.

This is great art! Not for beginners. I did my first one today and it was not a mere success 🤣🤣🤣. Question ❓ The paint on the string should be quite thick?
@HeatherWrightArt
@HeatherWrightArt Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, the paint on the string should be slightly thicker than the paint background.

What substance is this Boom Booster?
@HeatherWrightArt
@HeatherWrightArt Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure what substance you are referring to, I'm sorry! The only products I used here were acrylic paint, distilled water and floetrol (a paint additive used by house painters to make the house paint flow easier). Thanks so much for watching 🙏 😊 🎨
