I’ve been a huge fan of Barry Manilow since I was in my teens in the late 70’s and this is one of my top 5 by Barry. Amazing song and an amazing voice

This was cool. Even though you think he won in this parody battle, her opening line about him not being all ears was the priceless "Stinger Of The Year". Everything else she said after that was the lyrical nails that sealed the coffin shut. LOL! In case you missed it, it was right here at the 4:17 mark. Talk about shots fired. (No pun intended) Anyway, I respect your opinion. In my Forrest Gump voice: That's all I have to say about that. 😊 Peace

Man, this song is Morgan Wallen gold to me. Right out the gate, it screams good times. I wasn't prepared for this break-up aspect of it. LOL! Great tune, clever lyrics as always. This reminds me of a break-up I couldn't wait to make happen. I can still remember the surprised look on the girl's face when I gave her picture back. I guess that's what I get for being with the better-looking one of a set of fraternal twins. She was also the crazy one. Nevertheless, it was all uphill for me from there. 😜 Anyway, thanks for sharing this gem. Peace

Man, this one takes me back in more ways than one. To think it took you reviewing this video to remind me that Tracie Spencer reminds me of some sentimental memories. Again, in more ways than one. 😉 Since we discussed this on the phone, I won't get into all of that here. I'll just say, thanks. The Capitol Records story was very interesting, and I can see not wanting to do something anymore when it ceases to be fun. I get it. (sigh) So, I hope Tracie is doing well in this maddening world wherever she may be. As always, I appreciate the shout-outs (especially using my favorite clip) and your reviews. Peace, brother.

Aerosmith and ABBA. Who would have ever thought? Very creative. This mix is a perfect example of putting effort into something to make it work. I like the layering of both background vocals, and letting the main vocals of Steven Tyler breathe. This is cool from beginning to end. Thanks for sharing and for the shout-out. I'm glad you like my idea for The Twangin' Tuesday Twofer. I think people will get a kick out of it. Peace

In my opinion, it's a shame The mix ruins one of the best songs in history "Dancing Queen" It takes away its essence and beauty, which is given by the unmatched and incomparable voices of Frida and Agnetha together in ABBA

Wow! I can't believe you addressed this. I thought you were just tripping because you were under the influence, buzzed, lifted, and slurred. 😜 Since you did, allow me to re-clarify my opinion about the categories and the placement of Malcolm McLaren's Buffalo Gals. You stated that I didn't understand, and that's not true. I understand what you are doing. However, regarding genre, some lines will get blurred. I feel there are going to be exceptions that can't be ignored concerning race versus genre. Not every track is going to be easily slotted into one category. Malcolm McLaren is the perfect example. Buffalo Gals can not be put in the Yacht, Dad, or Pop Rock category just because the gentleman is what you may consider of a "caucasian persuasion". Buffalo Gals is a solid 'Old School' throwback track. Just like something else that you played a while back by Art of Noise. As for the track in this review. I wasn't feeling everything about it. It sounds thrown together to me by an individual, and not an original, official, or new song. Something is off about it. It almost sounds like it has been put together using A.I. Peace

The Deele was the LA n Babyface were in before they were popular as la n babyface. And Pebbles was/is a phenomenon songwriter just for the first single the couldnt chance it. She did TLC wrong but everyone did Clive Davis, Dallas Austin face n reid all did them dirty. None of them more than tlc did themselves dirty for not having represention.

Not to be misunderstood im glad knights of the "old guard" havent left their post, but it is exhausting listening to 50+ year old rappers talkj about shooting people and getting payback( i know em didnt do that here but 2/3s did). These are award winning acclaimed artists, it be nice to see growth from a maturity level but i guess thats asking too much. All that withstanding the beat was good and it wasnt a bad song i just expect more from juggernauts like them. I do see the distinction betwee. Your Wed and Thursday videos because yacth and dad rock or even hit pop music is predominantly of a certain persuasion that rhymes with the aforementioned word. Buffalo Girls should be on Thursday not because the artist is black but because its a super throwback imo. Good vid Sir. Stay keeping it reel brother!!!

I think that we're safe with respect to Mo not over partying. Mo doesn't drink before or during a show except to shotgun a beer with HARDY occasionally. This was an afternoon game, and Wallen played a stadium show in Charlotte later that night; he did his last show of the tour walking out with his band. He and two band members walked out with lit cigars. As we say in Vol Nation in this scenario, "smoke em if you got em.
