Bachman is upping their game with those two bay Airslide. As it is, I already have the Tangent version. The ScaleTrains N scale GP30's in D&RGW look great. It's too bad they aren't offering plows on the small herald version. I've been a Spring Creek customer for about 15 years now - excellent service! I got to visit the Spring Creek shop a few years ago on the way out to on a trip from Virginia to Utah.

I remember the orange and white Illinois Central running through my hometown in Iowa during the 60's and 70's. I'd love to have a white/red SOO 4 axle as foreign power for my Arizona SP layout.

I'm glad they are supplying those no.2 & 3 axle wheel sets with flanges so that they can be swapped in to the place of the blind (flangeless) drivers that come with the model. I'm looking forward to putting them in and trying this loco on my 36" radius curves.

I had an older brass model of this engine. It couldn't navigate the broad radius curves of a club layout, let alone the tighter ones on my home layout, so I regrettably sold it rather than have sit on my shelf. Hearing that BLI has cleverly resolved the smaller curve radius dilemma, I'm most definitely interested in getting what appears to be a more detailed version at an astonishing price, even with sound! Great news!

I have the Santa Fe power and dummy and like them. I do not like the fantasy paint schemes on this one and the UP too. thx

Pretty much toy train fantasy stuff, not even close to any paint scheme of the actual prototype. But if it gets more people into the hobby and into the C&NW then more power to them.

YES!! I ordered one! Very nice model 😀😀. I already got 2 x T1 4-4-4-4 (with and without the 3 portholes), a Q2 4-4-6-4 and 2 x the S2 Turbine (1 without the smokedeflectors and 1 with the large ones). Great models, and now tbe "big engine" S1. I hope that BLI will produce the "missing" Duplex Q1 4-6-4-4.

Tony, I am so hyped for Rapido's C36-7 announcement, especially since the BN upgraded C30-7 to C33-7 and C36-7 are included in it! Good thing I only ordered one C30-7, because I was hoping these were coming, and Rapido delivered!

Bring back the S Helper track! And the engines too! Maybe Trainsets? I’m not sure the reason why they went out of business?
