What brand and model hook are you using?

Sorry for the late reply! The brand of hook is “Ahrex” and this specific hook model is the “PR370 60 degree bent streamer hook (4/0)”

Durability wise, that depends on your thread tension and glue. I’ve personally tied some of these that have caught 30+ small bass and sunfish before coming loose. I would recommend loctite gel or zap-a-gap as a great bonding glue.
