I have tried this pattern for 3 days straight. Each row I seem to either gain 3 stitches or lose 2.. I gave up.

Too much wasted time in the beginning and not a clear enough explanation. Still completely lost on what to do.

This stitch either sucks or I just can’t learn from your style of teaching because I followed each step. It’s my own fault. I’m sure if I just watched and tried a million times I would be able to learn it

Ariana, I would like to know, how much does the sample with 36 chains measure? II want to knit a blanket for my soon-to-be-born grandniece and I need to know how many chains I should make. Another question, what yarn did you use?
@CraftingHappinessCrochet
@CraftingHappinessCrochet 8 күн бұрын
i used aran yarn, you can make a swatch with your own yarn and hook to know how big to make the blanket

Purchased the tutorial through Ravelry. I expected to see helpful videos for making the cow head and not just the celtic weave and various photos of the completed project since I clicked on the "Highland Cow" link in the pattern. Where are the helpful videos?

Hi, the PDF pattern does not come with complete videos on how to crochet the blanket, it's just the written pattern. The videos in the playlist are there to help you with basic stitches and crochet techniques, not replace the written pattern

Sorry, I tried 7-8 times to do this. Each time, it unraveled and I had big gaps. Finally gave up , crocheted a hair cap and single stitched loops into it -taking a long time, but it’s looking wonderful. Don’t know why I just couldn’t get your pattern. 😢
@CraftingHappinessCrochet

Sorry to hear that. It helps if you use a smaller hook and a yarn that is not slippery (cotton for example I'd quite slippery)

Nobody ever explains from which row one should start counting the number of rows to go below. From the one that is currently working which should be 1, and then 2 the previous row, and so on) or the count should start from the previous row that is crocheted, and the current one should be omitted?
@CraftingHappinessCrochet
@CraftingHappinessCrochet 27 күн бұрын
You count from the row thats already completed, so the previous row

Hi so I got your deer stuffy pattern. And I struggled with the hexagons so much and I was following the pattern to a T, itwasn't until I found this video I realized that the pattern didn't match with this video. Some things I noticed was that the first double crochet after the chain three isn't told to go into the same space as the chain three. It's told to go into he next space. Also I noticed on the third round you didn't do a second slip stitch like you said to in the pattern. I love the pattern a lot but I would recommend trying to make these instructions a little more clear.
