1:54 I get your point, but bruh but that's not how purity is supposed to be used, layer them sounds, USE THE MIXER. Roland xv50 is not a rompler last time I checked, but yeah in terms of individual sounds and presets roland is the og.

I appreciate your input, but there seems to be a misunderstanding. The Roland XV-5080 is indeed a rompler, which means it uses ROM-based samples and Pulse Code Modulation (PCM) to generate its sounds. Purity, on the other hand, is a PCM synth designed to replicate the sound and feel of classic PCM synthesizers like the XV-5080. While layering sounds and using the mixer are great techniques to enhance the sonic palette, it's important to understand the fundamental nature of these instruments. The XV-5080's role as a rompler and Purity's design to emulate it are 1 to 1 and you will see it when you use both side by side.

@@prod.masek2001 StellarMyst is a PCM synth made to emulate using an actual PCM synths (eg. korg m1, korg triton, xv5080, + more),, with that in mind, the texture you hear on top of the presets are an emulation of the circuitry inside those synths,, the texture is there because it is what you would be hearing if you were using the synths it is emulating

@@C_Loud-x3p You can download a free piano VST i made on the website too. I used keyscape to make the sounds so the quality is WAYYYY better than any free paino that you’ve heard i can guarantee .

using stellarmyst on a beat rn and it's pretty good, but it has potential to be really really good. The ADSR, reverb and sustain work super well on the sounds, but I feel like adding an oscillator or LFOs would be cool to, or turn this into a rompler like purity or expand where you can mix the sounds together. Also ik it's incomplete, but where the arp and bass sounds at? looking forward to the full release
