Interesting you chose these two songs to upload together - These two along with Moon Tune are by far my favorite of Mikes work throughout his career. Nick Gravenitis really seemed to have a unique chemistry with Mike that really came through in the music

That's song was where I knew Duane Allman was the greatest slide guitarist ever it's so subtle and the rythym gets stronger . Box is fantastic when a song hits a kid of 11 yrs old hears that song and knows for a fact two guys starting to make names for themselves come up with a classic for the ages it simply Magic to my ears!! Dave Meyer yes a late boomer but know music and the two of them and all the other musicians on that song deserve to be in the r&r hall of fame!!

This is sad wolf had congestive heart & kidney failure there was a doctor with him 24 hrs when he want back to London to record this his mother wanted nothing to do with him because he was a blues singer he crying out to his mother for real here 😢😢

Saw these guys in Vancouver. They were opening for Joe Cocker. Joe was a little under the weather and fell off the stage, but this guitar solo by Duane seared my soulnthat night and every time Inlisten to these incredible musicians

Duane is pure genius, and Boz has such a great sense for phrasing blues and rock tunes. Lowdown is a perfect song. I was lucky enough to see Boz live in Reno several years ago and he was still belting and ballading like the legend he is.
