I'd be tempted to ask the folks at the Sherburne County Historical Society if they know about the book, but maybe you've already tried that.

I just saw this podcast and I gotta tell you I loved it! Ive seen the videos about the duck hunters but youir video gave me info about the cities, the different businesses and general population, info I didnt get anywhere else that was so informative. We were in Ludiington last year and I was in the museum and kept watching all their videos on the storm and the 3 ships and since then I've been looking for more info on the people so thank you...great podcast

Nice podcast. Indeed, there was an extreme temperature change that day in November 1940. It was in the 60s in the morning while Chicago did get up to 63 degrees, before quickly plummeting to subzero temperatures Which caught a lot of people in Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and Illinois off guard.

Great, very fun stuff and the music selection was inspired as well. A lot of work.
