Interesting to hear your perspectives on the Python! Those Mack Pythons UWS are cool, i hope to catch one eventually. Still odd UWS decided to try these considering the problems you mentioned, were they the most affordable trucks at the time they needed new ones? It is an oddity that the arm speed becomes faster and floppier when the blade is retracting, I've heard it a bit from my drivers that use it. Despite all these complications, these types of trucks have served Las Vegas/Henderson for many years with a proven track record behind them. Republic made it work up here. Odd thing with the blade not being able to push fully while the tailgate is closed, all of our Pythons can extend the blade into the hopper while on route, they must have done someting to the them. Word has it we will get 9 new Pythons next month, I am stoked about it!

It's weird how the truck has to keep rolling when the cans end up flying into the hopper, but the operator doesn't opt to throw the shredded-up cans away for good.
