The plaudits about the hill in Clones were ill served. It was a very uncomfortable place to watch a match especially as a child. Also, when it rained it turned into a quagmire. I saw people literally up to their ankles in muck in 1993.

A great sports quiz question who scored in an All Ireland semi final and a goal against Bayern Munich in Europe.

When teams tried to go forward playing football. Not the sideways crab football or possession handball of nowadays.

The great Kevin Heffernan, the man who turned Gaelic Football from a bore into something really exciting and a joy to watch. He was a real innovator, changed the way Gaelic football was to be played with flair and invention. Love this man, also made huge improvements in fitness levels,he will always be revered.

Despite the plaudits from the presenter & his accomplice about the famous hill in Clones at the beginning, personally I’d rather be anywhere from a safety point of view, no exits in the middle of the bank apart from the openings at each end, no crush barriers, & I’m sure stewarding was limited relative to the size of the crowd. Ten years later for the same occasion on an infamously wet day it was said to be a miracle that nobody was killed on the bank due to the density of the crowd & the slippy conditions. It was the last Ulster final played in front of the famous old bank.

Donegal invested too much in that league campaign. Probably cost us a second all Ireland .

Never realised how lucky Donegal was this year..Brian mc eniff was a poor manager asking or instructed Martin mc hugh to go for a goal for the penalty says it all but the team hung in there..joyce mc Mullen going for goal when they were two forwards in a better position for it didn't pass the ball glory hunting was not the thing to do. Sean mc cauge anilising was pathetic

What in the name of God was a croke Park official doing out on the field issuing instructions to both teams it is unheard of nowadays I suppose the answer is that he wanted to get noticed across the globe it was unprofessional and ugly to see ..the brazen and hard neck of him stands out ..omg. saying Brian mc eniff was very astute and one of the best managers about. The players were the astute ones .

Is there any chance you could upload the following matches in full Donegal v Tyrone 2004 Donegal v Armagh 2004 Donegal v Armagh 2006 Donegal v cork 2006 Donegal v Armagh 2007 Donegal v Tyrone 2007 Donegal v Monaghan 2007 Donegal v Monaghan 2008 Donegal v down 2010 Donegal v Armagh 2010 Donegal v Tyrone 2011 Donegal v Tyrone 2012 Donegal v Tyrone 2013 Donegal v Armagh 2014 Donegal v Dublin 2014 Donegal v Tyrone 2015 Donegal v Monaghan 2016 draw and replay Donegal v Tyrone 2016 Donegal v Dublin 2016 Donegal v Tyrone 2017 Donegal v Dublin 2018 Donegal v Tyrone 2018 Donegal v Tyrone 2019 and finally Donegal v Mayo 2019 I appreciate that it will be impossible to upload all of these matches but is there any chance that you could upload a couple of them a few full Donegal v Tyrone matches would be great because although there's lots of highlight videos of Tyrone Donegal on KZbin there's no full matches between the two and I think with the great rivalry between the two teams it would be great if there was a few full matches between the two also it would Keep me and lots of other people entertained during lockdown please reply to tell me if it would be possible for you to upload even a couple of these matches from my recommended list

I know he wasnt mentioned much And I am not biased. But there is one player that was fearsome in the Down team , Blaney. Pure animal, die sort of guy If you were in battle , He would be my first name on the page.

When you see the skill of county players in that era in comparison what the level of skill and fitness in 2020s. Big difference, not that that matters . Everything evolves. But let me get to what I really want to discuss, and it has nothing to do with the players It is the fans .I was a member of the audience that watched the 1997 final . CAVAN /DOIRE The small pocket of supporters in front of us started chanting with great aplomb "Londonderry Bastards". This continued for a few minutes, until us Londain Doire bastards took a wee minute to sort out the 9the county boys out . I never seen as many broken noses or busted ears in 2 minutes, I felt sorry for the 2 guards that came down to investigate the schism. They soon got out of the road also . But the moral of the story is .never and I mean never mention the word London to a Derry man .we might not win much ,but you will see how we respond to gobshites.
