You have to drive out to where you catch the train, or find some sort of shuttle service. Plus, it's not much less than flying, so where's the benefit in taking twice as long for about as much money. Also, is that three hours that includes the time for the stops along the way?

Your total journey flying is more than flight time. You have to arrive at the airport early, then the flight itself, then the 20 minutes it takes to deboard a plane, and finally ~20 minutes at baggage claim if you have checked luggage. The train will offer far more comfort, space, and amenities than any of those short haul flights.

And I think for people who would still rather drive, if a enough people take the train, it will also mean that many less cars are on the road and thus help alleviate the horrendous traffic. Because let's face it, sometimes the trip is over 6 hours. I can't tell you how many times I've been stuck in wall to wall traffic for hours and can see nothing but desert in all directions. It's very frustrating. Also, I forgot to mention in the video that it should be complete by 2028! I drove to Stateline (for lotto tickets) and they were already doing all kinds of stuff on the side and in the median on the Nevada side!

I'll DRIVE MY CAR...Cheaper, safer! and it still in the planning stage. Add another 40% to the BUDGET! This is AMERICA...nothing gets done on-time and on budget!

I think you're right on the budget! Nothing seems to ever get done on budget. I also think if it's a car full of people, it will be cheaper than the train. But, we'll have to wait & see for individual tickets.

Guests can park on the street going with the flow of traffic. No overnight parking. All homeowners must park in the driveway or garage. No parking within 5 feet of a mailbox or 20 feet of a Stop sign. If you visit another homeowner in Anthem CC, you can park in front of their house between 6am & 1am as long as they live more than .2 miles away!
