I just want to clarify, should we not do zone 2 work at all? I am a student as well as a higher level hobbyist (Been doing martial arts for 10 years), so I only have 3 mornings to dedicate to cardio sessions. Should I only do 4x4 and 15/15 exclusively?

How many reps to do if you’re just getting started? I plan to join a BJJ gym next year and am currently a Muay Thai practitioner.

So when you say once we reach our maximum strength potential we would have to stsrt training closer to our 1rm? What do you mean by this? Please elaborate? An example?
@SvenKoch
@SvenKoch Ай бұрын
If you want to maximise your strength, you'll need to make this your main training focus. For example, powerlifters typically gain weight and lift heavier loads (closer to their one rep maximum) to become as strong as they could possibly be. However, most fighters want to strike a balance between several factors such as strength, endurance, weight management and recovery.
@bladeboytb1
@bladeboytb1 Ай бұрын
@SvenKoch so as a fighter what 1rm % do you recommend training in to reap strength,size,power and endurance all in one?

Set 3 rounds of 3 minutes with 1 minute rest inbetween. First 10 secs of the round you sprint as fast as you can, the rest 50 secs you run on a steady but uncomfortable pace. Thats your first minute. The 2nd minute you do the same. The third minute you do the same but the last 10 secs are also sprints. You rest for 1 minute and repeat for 3 or 4 rounds. Put a mouthpiece in your mouth. Trust me it works, it feels like hell but it works.

Jesus was son of God because the Romans and Greeks called all their important people Son of God. Living on Mt. Olympus made all them fit af (minimal oxygen, uneven terrain) and to us ground level people those were superman beings especially when they came fought us. Like Dagestanis in the UFC today.
