There seems to be very little audio on mine and when I plugged a small wired microphone into the front where it says mic there was no audio at all just static. Anyone know what’s wrong??

Mine is the same, the audio is heard very low, I even thought that the microphone had been damaged over time, but when I bought the camera it had a DVD inside and those videos are not heard either.

you can use the battery but i think you need the adapter to charge it (idk if you can charge it just by plugging it to the wall)

Mine shows snippets of what’s on the tape then shuts off in VCR mode idk if that means something is wrong or if I’m doing something wrong

The model shown in the video does not take any type of memory, you should check if your camera has a slot for memory, and if it does, you should check if it is the appropriate memory.

Most handycam DVD cameras have a small slot that says Pro Duo, where the Memory Stick Pro Duo goes, but it only records photos, not videos.

Looking at this post no I’m the beginning of the video he put the battery on . I bought a battery on eBay then when it was on the way I thought shoot I didn’t buy a charger 😂. So don’t make that mistake.

I wish this camera had back button auto focus and date stamp options. Otherwise a great camera. Its size and weight is my favourite feature. With a 52mm lens I can fit in my jacket pocket 😊

Hi, I got my film developed and it ended up coming out blank. Do u know what possibly went wrong? I think I place the roll properly and rewinded it properly too. The ISO is in the right value as well.

Nice video. Question. I have a meter that the coil is no longer centered in the permanent magnet. There's a wire that goes through the center of the coil that I think is broken in the middle, so the meter is binding to the direction it's being pulled magnetically. Any suggestions on how to fix that or replace just the movement? Thanks in advance.

Hello, I just started shooting with this camera haven’t even finished my first roll. Can I ask all you X700 shooters a question? In your experience, what mode M, A or P would give the best exposures if I were to follow the cameras meter and no EV comp or any other tricks, just depending on the internal meter?
