Great thing to watch on sick days! I grew up with a friend who watched that Anne every year and I got to join a few times and then I introduced my kids to it and it’s such a core memory for us! They loved watching the avonlea series too. Hope you enjoy it and you feel better quickly! Loving your vlogtober. Also I noticed your nightshift shawl is fingering weight? Did you adjust anything from the original pattern? I got it and realized if I do it in the called for weight it’s going to be soooo heavy!

Those shawls are all so cute! I'm in an unintended finish-along for October, it's my best friend's birthday at the end of the month and I've decided to make him a crocheted shirt. I hate working to a deadline, and I don't do a lot of gift making for that very reason!

Yes to buying sweater quantities of yarn! I knit a No Frills jumper last year and it’s already become my favourite. Now I want to knit a few more in different colours. My Out would be super-wash yarn. I love the colours but sometimes I can get an allergic reaction whilst knitting with them and the fabric grows a lot 😢 I want to discover more non-super wash this year

I love "the mkal isn't a shawl, it's an event." I think my ins include letting myself make multiples of my favourites and one of my outs is buying yarn or patterns that I'm not going to cast on right away (which I worked on last year as well). Happy new year!
