You create a Notifier on our website and set a 5 minute reminder within our dashboard (to cover all events) or at the event level within Google Calendar. I'd love to help, but it might be easier and faster if you could drop into our support server. When debugging front matter issues you can normally separate them into two categories of problems: the front matter has a mistake (you can recognize this when the front matter text appears in your Discord descriptions) or a value which isn't correct (if your front matter isn't showing in Discord). If I could see your front matter i can normally help narrow it down pretty quickly.

Thank you! There isn't really a way to do a constant reminder as that leans a little more towards a to-do list than events. You can setup recurring events in Google for these if you want, like a monthly event in your example, but that will only trigger a handful of messages before the event is in the past. You could also setup a daily summary message which is constantly show you what is coming up next, and might be closer to what you are looking for. That way you get message pings every morning with your upcoming items.

You can do this now with our Event Feeds which are just about to come out of beta. We broke the functionality into two pieces (Notifiers and Event Feeds) so you can create each leg of the 2-way sync individually, or 1-way in either direction if you want.

If you'd like to drop into our support server and ping us there I would be happy to look at your calendar connection and see if there are any errors showing up in our logs. discord.gg/nWJCsV9hPq Outside of an error, my best guess would be you might have changed your Discord Event Sync settings and the event in question is no longer within the time frame the bot is looking at. As an example, we had someone the other day set their sync to 30 days, the bot created the events, and then they changed their sync down to 14 days. This causes all of the events from day 15 through day 30 (even though they had been synced once) to be ignored until they were again within the 14 day sync window.

Yes, the bot can pull events from Google Calendar and build summaries to post daily, weekly, or on a rolling basis (which might be good if you want events to drop off the summary as the week progresses). Also, these summary (like all of our Discord messages) are updated in real-time if you make edits in Google Calendar. We don't have a KZbin video on this yet, but we are working to get more up in the coming weeks. Unfortunately no, Discord doesn't support font or font size changes. You can however use some basic markdown in event descriptions which do show up in the notification message. This would let you style some bold text to make something stand out.

​@@ChronicleBot Thanks for your quick reply. Currently in the events summary, the events are listed as links. Is it possible to have them as not link, but just plain text. In that way it would solve our font issue. I am ok with the font of the time value displayed. Would like to have the same font for the event title as well.

@@jayashreee1 Based on your question, I just pushed out an update which adds the ability to disable event links. Edit your notifier, open the Settings tab, drop down the Event Link option and select "Disabled".
