@@herrjugsracing7816 Only the Stage 1. My game plan is to upload the Stage 2 soon but install an even smaller pulley through Metco that should still work within the DC parameters. What is it with the Stage 2 tune that you're not pleased with...besides not offering a trans tune?

My 60ft times dropped from the stock tune on pump gas. I have a stage 2 tune on race gas with a smaller pulley and 60ft times are down. Overall trap speeds are up but only a tenth better in the quarter mile from stock tune on pump gas. It makes no power down low for some reason. Is the tune soft down low on purpose or did they not have enough time to get it right?

@@herrjugsracing7816 Not sure about that, but I can say that my race team has seen a big change when we ran at The Texas Mile last year. There was an 8mph difference between the previous stock Redeye setup on mine (183mph) versus a 2019 Redeye Stage 2 (191mph).

Can you please guide me in the right direction. I have a 421 Athena banshee with 34mm Kehlins carbs. On the low end the bike bogs out and when you get into the power band it begins to run better. I backed out the air scew and every time I backed out the screws the bike ran better. Do I need to change the main jet to a smaller jet or change the small main jet. To me it seems like the bike is chocking and needs more air

Be sure to Remove the spring clamp on the rear rubber boot near the 8 bolt and replace with a hose clamp. If you do not replace the spring clamp, you will blow the rubber boot right off and spray coolant all over the engine bay.

Don’t know why people refer to that as the flywheel, it is a rotor for the generator and is listed as such by Yamaha. Yes it adds mass to the rotating assembly kinda like a flywheel but not by design, as a 2 stroke fires every rotation it is not as reliant on flywheel mass to smooth out power transmission between firing events. You can lighten a 2 stroke rotor without any major negative and more positives, if you lighten a 4 stroke flywheel it will become jerky on the low end due to the exhaust stroke. Also engineers have noted that you see more return putting the weight on the clutch basket allows for less bogging due to the rotating mass directly acting on the drive line, as weight opposite of the drive side is transferred through the crank increasing the twisting load on it.

My daughter's boyfriend installed a pyramid reed set up from Duncan racing in my daughter's Yamaha blaster. He forgot or never thought to rejet....I believe it ran too lean. It has a full port n polish and 34mm intake along with a 34mm mikuni carb, it had a 10.3:1 piston. Installing a wisco pro lite piston this time. I'm sure it will loose a little hp. My question is any aftermarket exhaust pipe do you recommend? To help reclaim some hp?
