Idk why, I really like the violins in 1:40. It played right when I turned the genarstor back on giving me this last dose of hope in what seemed to be a near impossible task. The Alien will not leave you alone in this area at all. And the long walk down the hallway knowing it is following right behind you makes this one of the most tense and stressful moments I had in a video game. This song was the one thing keeping me going, letting me know "i'm almost there. Just a little further" The composers did a phenomenal job.

When the music started playing, in all the tension and the chaos that was happening around me, I was more affraid than ever, knowing that this music tells me "this is it, this is the final boss moment of the game, it's now or never". Generator goes down, everything is dark and smokey, and a fierce, invincible alien roams around, hearing any possible mistake I could do. The tension and fear acoumulated to this very moment, and it feels so real this time. It's now or never SUDDENLY..... ....the moment at 1:40 of this soundtrack plays. This very piece of the soundtrack yells at me "Come on, snap out of it man, you gotta do it, you CAN do it. You have a freakin flamethrower, and you have been preparing the entire game, learning the behaviour of the alien. You CAN and you WILL escape it. GO NOW! I just love how this soundtrack managed to both give me fear and uncertainity at first, for then to give me strong resolve and determination. This is what I call a real cinematic experience in a game. This is what campaign video games should be about.

This is an inaccurate depiction. Seems like part of the top and bottom are cut off. The way I remember it, as the final machine is being lowered, right at the end Arnold turns to his head to look at [you] right before his head disappears at the bottom of the screen. I'll never forget those glowing red eyes! LOL. Also, there were the random "invalid" ones that get rejected... where there was a casting error or something, and the machine skeleton didn't get properly encased in synthetic skin. I don't remember what happened to those rejected ones though.. (it's been a few years since I watched this hehe)

The first film is one of my 3 favourite films, I can't enough of Ripley, I think she is one of the greatest heroines of all time. Playing isolation bought it all back, i couldn't get enough so got the dlc's and now after playing them I have this empitness inside, I need more.
