See this is what I did on a previous sermon: I didn't use it verbatim, just to jog my thoughts and where to start on a thought. I still had to build the sermon, regardless, but it got me started. I received positive responses from the congregation, including my pastor which I shared later that I use GPT to develop points. In other words, it's a tool. People complained that ministers used Logos (when it first came out) used as a crutch, but now it's a thousand dollar program people use all the time.

Like you said, it's a tool. As an artist and someone who is married to a programmer - it's not bad when a tool makes your job easier. Just be sure you're still doing your job well. A pastor is more than a preacher. He's a leader... That can take on many hats in a church. Even if a sermon is copy and pasted I wouldn't mind only *IF* the pastor has thoroughly studied it and is sure it aligns with the Bible and he has studied it himself. If the tool is used to become lazy at your job, then that's not good. Just my two cents. With any tech nowadays you really need to be sure it's giving you legit and untailored information, though. I know chat gpt will censor and has bias in it even if the creators claim otherwise. Use with caution.

Hmmm… I think your take on it is balanced and well presented. For a one off like a Father’s Day, i can DEFINITELY see using it like you did. I didn't know about this wave until I was talking to my dear friend in Christ told me because I was going to the San Joaquin River to baptize my grandson. I didn't know if it was OK to do it since he is 9, but he is the one who asked and pursued it🥰 I'm not a Pastor, just a grandma praying for salvation for mine and others young ones and loved ones. She said "You guys caught the wave!!!!🌊 I said" Yeeeesss, I always did call him my turtle baby💙💚💙💚 I had to look this up🤗 Oh and YES!!! I'm wondering if repentance and surrender to the Lordship of Christ is happening before each baptism, since baptism is "an outward sign of an inward reality ". Also, does the pastor who started this movement believe in the inerrancy of the Bible? I understand that his wife is also a pastor, when Scripture clearly states that "An elder must be the blameless, the husband of but one wife..." Titus 1:5... It is exciting to think that God is manifesting himself in such a mighty way! To God be the Glory!

Yes each person is checked with to make sure they have surrendered their life to Jesus. And yes the Mark believes in the inerrancy of the Bible, and yes his wife is a pastor. Women can be pastors as well.

@@drea7295 From what I understood, the pastor responded to the voice of God. Like I said, they are spiritual babies who requires guidance to grow in God. When people tell me they don't believe in God/Jesus, I say that's ok, he still believes in you. So if you ever want to ask questions or learn more about him, I'm always available. 😉💞 Remember, if we're not loving first, why would they listen. I don't cast pearls in front of a closed heart, and never water his word down, but I also don't deny him, or change me. Once they know I'm a Christian and available, I must not push it on others or corrupt my testimony by being a bad example. 😉💞

@@imoorzy yes that is the scripture, but it also says God created “Adam” male and female he created them. And in the Greek there is no gender. So God created male and female in partnership with one another. Therefore, men and women can be pastors, along with spouses.
