I agree with you on what the next monster verse movie should be. Hundred percent. They have Easter eggs and callbacks to other classic monsters So they could go that route or they could continue making new monsters. I’d actually be fine with both but I would like to see destroyer eventually

Bio-L and Destoroyah has the ability to make sense in the universe. Destoroyah is the endgame. Ghidorah is a parasite and there can be more of them to come to earth.

He said he wanted the next film to “be what this movie [GXK] was for Kong.” He wanted it to be similar in tone to Godzilla vs Destroyah. But, as we all know, Wingard isn’t attached to this project anymore, so who the hell knows what this new film will be. IMO the film SHOULD be a Goji solo-film. Follow up on the world building of KOTM. Bring back the tone and feel of that film. Reel back the silliness and make it a bit semi-grounded. For the other kaiju for Godzilla to fight, I would have it be Biollant. Follow up on the setup of genetically mutated Titans. Have her be created by Alan Johan using all these Titan DNA he’s taken throughout the years. Make him the reoccurring villain in each following movie. So that we could eventually build up to Destroyah in the Monsterverse And no Kong. At least for a while. Idk they should be separated for a while before we have a big DESTROY ALL MONSTERS type film.

To be fair Godzilla vs Godzilla already kinda happened when u think about it. It was in final wars Godzilla fought America’s 1998 Godzilla which toho made into another character named Zilla. Probably because the movie did terrible and toho didn’t want this to ruin their Godzilla.

She was a terrible kaiju. Very weak, didn't threaten Godzilla at all. A bit of posing, her petals fell off, her vine covered Center exploded with one radioactive breath hit and lots of shimmering glitter with what's her face ghost floating like her spirit was in the plant/ monster. Laughable. Did anyone not watch the movie? Just horrible. That movie was a total and embarrassing disservice to the big G. G needs a foe that pushes him to his limits, just as powerful and continues the feeling of awe and powerlessness we felt as G just tore thru the last movie. It needs to make us root for G who by the way is still very much a bad guy. Don't ever make him cute or friendly again, he's great as an anti-hero. Offs the other kaijus and goes back to stomping thru humanities world.

Mecha godzilla would be cool its just minus one is set in ww2 and they wouldnt have like the technology

I don't know about you, but I would really like to see some long-forgotten monsters and what could really be done with them, the same Hedora is a really good option, since it hasn't been around for a long time, monsters from Heisei could be used that haven't appeared in more than one film, and these are such popular monsters as, for example, space Godzilla, the Destroyer, Biolanthe and of course Bagan, who, despite all his coolness, never appeared in any film, and of course it could also be a completely new monster

Technically, Godzilla minus two would come before Godzilla minus one.

To me, Biollante is the obvious choice. Noriko seems to have been infected with G cells and it would truly be tragic for her to transform into a monster. An older Akiko who loses her mother-figure would be especially heartbreaking. We would feel complex emotions watching Godzilla battle her.

I feel like of all these choices, Hedorah would be the one. With how Godzilla was symbolized in Minus One to represent the war’s impact on Japan, i think it’d be a no-brainer to expand on that how the war affected the environment. Plus there’s definitely room to tweak Hedorah in terms of fitting him into Minus One so that he both seems feasible in that reality and is a thematic foil or add-on to Godzilla. Great video!

I was bored out of madame mind. This movie wasn’t even so bad it’s good, it was just bad and boring. You could feel that no one cared about this material, with poor dialogue and bland performances. The action was so weak and the villain was pathetic. One of the worst comic book movies ever and worst of this year. Great review 👍 Keep making videos!
