The DNA story is indeed fraught with deception. We're well aware of Harold Hillman's work and all the bogus cellular organelles, many of which are allegedly "mandatory" in order to perform "DNA/RNA transcription" - namely, the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), ribosomes, golgi apparatus, etc. --- all of which Hillman says are either staining artifacts or air bubbles and don't exist in reality. But that being said, I've yet to hear anybody explain how scientists have been using DNA for paternity tests, criminal convictions, ancestry trees, etc. There's quite obviously "something" they are able to use to uniquely identify individuals. Now anyone doing work requiring purified DNA just says they isolated it using previous methods and tracking those methods always leads to a paper full of suggestions and claims, or they say they buy it from somewhere, and the manufacturers methods are not easy to find if at all. In truth, "germ THEORY" is actually a "Refuted hypothesis". It's been refuted hundreds of times over the past 150 years. I don't know and I don't think anybody does, but I would say it is "local" to the earth. In my other response I don't even think it's a physical object, a ball of gas. I think I mentioned in one of our podcasts that Rudolf Steiner called the sun a "lacuna" (small gap) effectively emanating from what could only be described as "anti-space". It's an unsatisfying explanation on so many levels, but yet there it is. It makes some sense to me but we have to talk about more BELIEFS putting yours against mine which doesn't get us anywhere I realize. Steiner's cosmology is so vastly different and unbelievable than anything we can comprehend at this time. It's so far away from what we were taught by the establishment that it's virtually unapproachable by any of us. I'll give you that. Yet, to make something up out of his imagination also seems implausible to me. He's been right about so many other things, I have to give him the benefit of the doubt. So he suggests there is a massively vaster "light" that is the source of our sun that's almost entirely blocked/filtered out, and there's effectively a small crack/cap allowing a tiny amount of that light to reach us. This makes sense to me and doesn't contradict anything I can personally see. Now, what distance away it is, is another matter. Is the gap in space 3000, 5000, 10,000, 50,000 miles away? I don't think anybody can say. However, I'm more and more convinced every day that there is a "firmament" surroudning the earth, as stated in the bible. Is it an impenetrable barrier? Is it water? is it ice? Is it a plasma? Is it a substance unknown to us? I don't know. But I'm of the opinion that what we see as "the sun" is this light reflecting off/through this firmament. Whatever the case may be, it renders all attempts to scientifically "measure" distances to prove or disprove the shape of the earth moot in my opinion. Before we get there, we have to agree that there's no proof that the sun is a burning ball of hydrogen gas. We have to take NASAs word for it. Something I'm entirely unwilling to do. Mainly because it doesn't make any sense in relation to physics we see and can test on earth - where gas dissipates in a larger container of vacuum. NASAs explanation is Newtonian gravity as the cause (mass attracts mass). Another thing that has never been proven. And then we've got the impossible to model "3 body problem" they can't explain away - so how can they explain 12/15/30 bodies if so? And then we have to invoke dark energy and dark matter to make the Einstinian gravity work without the whole model falling apart. Net-Net, before we argue distances, we've got to work out all these other unfalsifiable claims. I doubt we're going to get that accomplished in KZbin comments, agreed? You have chose to accept their unfalsifiable claims as facts. I once did too of course. That was, until I started looking into all of them and realizing that their Einstinian model is incredibly fragile and loaded with ASSUMPTIONS galore. That makes it beyond untenable in my estimation. Contrary to you, I realize that measurements, as well as other observations, give knowledge about the world around us, and the observations we do prove that the Earth is not flat, but round. If we accept the reports of the result of Eratosthenes measurement, then the Earth cannot be flat, independently of if the sun is made of hydrogen, or if it a piece of burning coal (which was once belived), or some kind of hole in space, or whatever. The only thing that matters in WHERE the sun is. And Eratosthenes measurement has certainly been repeated countless times. But OK, I never was in Egypt, so I never repeated it myself. However, I have personally made other observations that clearly demonstrate that the Earth is not flat, but round. I live in Sweden, and have lived in different parts of Scandinavia, but I have also visited southern Europe, eastern and western US, and the Carribean. But wherever I was, and whenever I looked at the sky a starry night (and I do that a lot), the sizes, shapes and relative positions of the constellations have been the same. Of course, which constellations are visible and their absolute positions and orientations in the sky vary by time and place, but the relative positions of the constellations, and their sizes and shapes, never change. For example, you always find the Big Dipper and Cassiopeia at the opposite sides of the North Star (Polaris), and their shapes are always the same. You always find the stars Betelgeuse (Orion), Procyon (Canis Minor), and Sirius (Canis Major) form an equilateral triangle (as long they are above the horizon). You never see this triangle being distorted or change size. The same is true for all stars and constellations. Anyone who has observed the night sky at different times from different places can verify this. But, if the stars would be close to us, it wouldn't be so. The stars must be very distant compared to distances on the Earth. Beacuse if you have a set of objects and look at them from different nearby places, the will appear to have different positions and their patterns will be seen to change, when you change the place from which you are looking. A square, for example, will look like a square only if it held vertical in front of your eyes. It would not look like a square if it is held horizontal in front of your eyes. The same thing is true for the stars. If they are close relative to distances on the Earth, then, for example, Orion wouldn't look the same if it is observed simultaneously from eastern and western US. Not only would be seen at different positions in the sky, it's very shape and size would be different for the two observers. And it doesn't matter if the stars are glued at a dome or a horizontal ceiling above the Earth ot if they are spread in space at unequal distances, the shapes, sizes and relative positions of the constellations must vary by time and place. But isn't so, which I personally can attest to. There is only one explanation for this: The stars are very distant compared to distances on the Earth. It is like if you are looking a group of objects which all are at least a mile away, then the apparent pattern they consitute for your sight doesn't change noticeably if just move a few yards. So, we have we established that the distances to the stars must be very great compared to distances on the Earth. But then, if the Earth is flat, if a star is watched simultaneously from two different points on the Earth, it must be seen in the same position in the sky, having the same altitude for both observers, just because the rays from the star are essentially parallell over the Earth (like the sun rays was assumed to by Eratosthenes). But this isn't what we see. Polaris (The North star) is always seen at the same position in the sky at every location in (what is called) the northern hemisphere. But it's altitude varies when you go north/south. Here in Scandinavia it is high up in the sky, quite near the zenith, but in the Southern Europe and the US, and even more so in the Carribean, it is seen much closer to the horizon. The only possible explanation of these differences is that the horizontal planes which define the horizon and zenith are different at different locations. This wouldn't be the case if the Earth is flat, for then all locations would have the same horizontal plane. Therefore, the Earth is not flat, but curved in some way. And the only curved shape I know of that fits all observations of this kind I and others have made is a globe.

It's really a simple issue. If the sun is a kajillion miles away, we're on a magic floating ball and if the sun is far more local, the experiment shows what all other observations and scientific experiments demonstrate -> a plane. That a local sun matches everything those without an agenda can observe, and a kajillion miles away sun matches all that those with an agenda to deceive SAY, but can't scientifically prove speaks volumes. It's funny, the globe defenders scream from the rafters "flat earth is impossible, can't be true, never, ever ever will I accept it, there's not a single piece of evidence for it" in concert with one another. While all the "flat earthers" say, we'll be happy to change our position if you can just produce a SINGLE scientific experiment, or even valid observation that can't be explained. All navigation charts are based on it and even have the amount if correction printed on them. And now the magnetic north pole is fake too. Check out a navigation chart again. You can't just say things without checking the facts! And I have a telescope that is much better then an over-the-counter camera. And even so no flat earther can explain why the sun can't be brought back into view. That should be easy. Just start with the assumption that the universe is banana shaped, and build your math on top of that. It also "works" for a flat plane, if you assume it. However, you globe does not work for "everything". In case you're not aware, your globe model leads to the Universe being 96% dark matter and dark energy, both never proven to exist, and all dependent on a gravitational force, never proven to exist. Newtonian Gravity was so bunk that it needed General Relativity, and that is so bunk that you need made up unproven dark matter and dark energy as *96* percent of the universe. Literally all you have is a "model" honed and honed over millennia to match everything that regular people experience. So no, your claim that it "works" for everything is entirely false.

What's important to know is that the supposed experiment made famous by Carl Sagan on Nova back in the 1970s ASSUMES & PRESUMES the sun is 90+ million miles away and requires "Parallel rays" for its claim to work. But it's clear to anybody who looks that the rays of the sun appear crepuscular to us - indicating a far more local sun - like thousands of miles away. Add to that, do you really think you could see something 93 MILLION miles away, let alone billions of miles away? We've been told many lies. Once you see them, you can't unsee them. No one, brain or no brain, knows "how GPS works". It's closed-source code owned by the US military / cabal. The last person to whom I explained that didn't know what "closed-source code" even meant, so please make sure you know what that means before replying. The code for how it works is literally not available. You literally just "believe" that it works how you've been told it does... and your only evidence supporting your belief is "it works in the woods for me", as if that is anywhere near the level of objectivity or science required for a conclusion. In discussions with random people over the years, it's been my experience that roughly half have questions about the moon landings when given an opportunity to discuss. Most specifically "why haven't we been back in over 50 years?". I'd also add that in the past 5 years the number of those questioning all things "space related" has grown exponentially and the establishment I can think of dozens of people in my orbit that BELIEVED in the moon landings 5 years ago but don't today. But sure, if I said 50% and it's really only 10% so be it. I don't think anybody really knows and I certainly wouldn't rely on any mainstream poll as a barometer of truth. The establishment powers are fighting too hard to suppress and censor one of the fastest growing movements in the world, thus generating polls condemning "conspiracy theorists" has been backfiring on them for several years now which is likely why they've gone very quiet on this subject in recent years.
