The aorta is that stretchy manifold just after the heart. It takes the "pumped" pressure and smoothes it out a little to keep things more constant. If that pops... it's bad. Especially if it fills the heart sack. Radiation poisoning did that to some people my uncle used to work with when he mined uranium. It weakens organs... especially the aorta. They would trip and fall and they aorta would "bust off." If you have Marfan's Syndrome it can mess up your ability to use vitamin C to make a mesh of collagen (made from vitamin C) inside your tissues that adds structure, the way strings criss cross inside garden hoses to keep them from being balloons. If the aorta breaks in Marfan's syndrome, it causes a dissecting aortic aneuism and you die very quickly... happened to a nurse (who I used to work with when I was younger) while she was on vacation. Marfan's syndrome also makes you taller and have longer fingers and makes you more flexible/double jointed. Most world class cellists seem to have it, like Yoyo Ma. They also get kidney issues and that is why they looked for dialysis machines when they were looking for Osama bin Laden... they thought he might have it from his lenthy appearance but... no dice. False lead.

To review PEAT and r PEAT before actual NPTE is the enough !? Along with reviewing other Practice exams. Is that good to go before the exam !?

If that is the only thing you are doing then I would not think so. My Battle Plan (on sale at 50% of if you get it in July with Coupon Code EARLYBIRD) is a step by step simple and strategic approach to training for the Board. Plus I have practice exams with analysis. I recommend the Battle Plan and the PEAT and then if you want more you can always do other things like Scorebuilders. If you have taken a Practice PEAT can you share your score? You can always email me too by going to Contact on my website: www.instructorbrooks.com

I appreciate this. I’ve always questioned teaching/coaching methods. Most coaches and teachers are boring, lack creativity, don’t care enough to be better, and don’t care enough to give students the best learning experience possible. Whatever this program is that you offer, sounds great.

Took 3 scorebuilders exams and one PEAT so far (i'm taking the july exam). Passed the PEAT and 2/3 of the scorebuilders. Think I'm in good shape? Any last minute advice for me?
@InstructorBrooks
@InstructorBrooks Ай бұрын
The best last minute advice I would give would be to continue studying muscles, motions, and nerves. You can't miss questions that are connected to those things because they're so easy. You just have to get them right. So keep up with that.

Have you taken a lot of the quiz questions I have on my KZbin Community tab? Also, if you're a member at the student level you get even higher level questions. But at least take the free ones.
