Thank-God China has finally banned the sale of ivory......ivory prices have already plummeted........Now if Vietnam and all other nations that allow the legal sale of ivory would do the same........perhaps the tide can be turned......

Against the killing of elephants for ivory, there are many countermeasures: Reminton, S&W, Mauser etc.

Please save the elephants by NOT buying any ivory item. How hard can it be ? If you buy any ivory item you are directly responsible of killing a magnificent animal.
@dianemorris-hill75097 жыл бұрын
rzadan that's right, buying ivory creates a demand.
@rzadan8 жыл бұрын
Do you want to save elephants ? "Just Do NOT buy ivory." How hard can it be ??? Buying any ivory item makes you directly responsible for murdering an elephant. Shame on you.

Caring for the orphans of every specie, the creatures of the Earth, and for the Earth is OUR responsibility and Duty before God. Has this video been translated into Chinese? Are there re-education programmes going on in China?? THIS IS VITAL.

hello, yes, i understand that you need an orphanage for elephants, but why don´t you get these poachers, give them a fine, so that you can hace for the orphanate. it is not fair that really good people have to take care of an orphanage and the maffia of the ivory can do what they want,,, leaving these poor young elephants alone. i think they do not have grip on the ivory-maffia. but together with police and the david sheldrick elephant orphanage and mayby some more control it could be possible......

For the Chinese this is just a very small problem, compared with their problems "at home". In the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam the Netherlands, you see them carefully photographing ivory art and trinkets from the 17th century, There's one luck for the African elephants: the weather modification, that makes Siberia a treasure land for mammoth ivory

when will the government of Nairobi stop the hunts? Nothing is worth these poor beautiful Animals being slaughtered.. for Ivory.. I appreciate the National Park helping to raise these poor orphaned Babies. This should never happen.. They live as Families. They are sweet and loving.. How can any of this be tolerated? The hypocrisy astounds me.. Why isn't there laws to protect all animals in this beautiful region? If in fact and its true .. a Foundation has been set up , this makes me wonder if the monies given are all going to the Wildlife Trust..

In some ways, yes. But passionately loving elephants would make it less so; it would be A JOY. A precious and invaluable thing they do, but they do get great heart-reward!

layla levani I wish I knew all about all of them, but while I love them, I don't work with DSWT, so I'm sorry, I don't. But you can go to the DSWT website and look up the elephants, I believe. Hopefully, you can find out there. If not, maybe someone else here will know and answer, or maybe you'll ask DSWT by email. I'd check the website first. I believe they post their website in the video description. 😊.

Excellent youtube hard not to cry. Every baby elephant we see in the youtube came there from trauma and I listened to Dame Sheldrick's audio book. Heart breaking but like the elephants she has learned to endure and so much love. Goodness is unforgettable. Thank you because not u to flight to India.

Orangutans are such beautiful gentle creatures. This film shows the amazing work that Dr Galdikas and her team does. So sad to see so many orphaned orangutans and the vast areas of felled forest. I do hope films like this will help raise awareness of how man is destroying our beautiful Planet and that more people will become proactive about doing something about it. Here a link with ideas how to help: www.actforwildlife.org.uk/go-orange-for-orangutans/go-orange-for-orangutans
