My father was an Aeronautical engineer, USAF Test Pilot, Rocket Scientist and deputy director of research snd development for the Air Force. He advocated STOL and VTOL technology. The Osprey was one of his programs hampered by the through body driveshafts connecting the engines. He retired in 1969. A visionary.

A civilian version of the air-evac version of this would require smaller landing zones and could avoid traffic for quicker medical runs.

The big challenge is both the rotors should produce same amount of lift, if one produces more or less than lift than the other it destabilizes, either both should have same shaft driven motor or some ai which corrects itself, to synchronize both the motors speed and produce same amount of lift.

I like your design. You did it perfect, mounting the fans close to the fuselage and just tilting the whole wing. Exactly the way they should make the osprey and bell v22 tiltrotor. Way more stable, way less problems. Sometimes the best designs are opposed for personal reasons.

Plenty of amazed comments so far, and literally no one asked what problems this design tries to solve? It's a helicopter in another form so far. What helicopter can't do, so this thing should be useful for? If there are practical problems it solves, then cool. If the only thing you can say about it is "it's looking futuristic", then I'm sorry.

Just remember that the Bell X22A was a four fan VTOL aircraft that flew as a research vehicle for nearly 20 years starting in 1966. Good luck. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bell_X-22
