This simply breaks my heart.The tenderness in his voice, a little nasal, a little tired, but there is so much gratitude behind it. Not hard to imagine that when he shared it with me in the car one day, I was left with such enormous sadness for what had to happen to bring him back to us. And the best part of this song is how ONE PERSON, taking the time to let him know he mattered, she cared, everyone was praying for him and he was loved by so many friends and loved ones. The words are so powerful, and are still just as they were the day he recorded it. What a beautiful gift you have my boy, putting words to such deep and painful feelings and experiences. You are right Adam, when you told your audience in the intro to this song last month...... How many of us realize the impact that our kindness to each other... we actually makes an impact.
