That’s how I get more views… 😂 (just kidding) I feel it like a 4/4 in quintuplet subdivision. So actually not like a 5/8 or 5/16. But it can be, it just develop another approach of groove and feel.

One of the best drummers…. In the entire world! Not only is he a virtuoso, like some others, but his vocabulary, his subdivisions and time signatures are of his own. I like more « straight ahead » music but Aka Moon and Stephane are true pioneers.

Knap hoor. Op 5:56 gebeurt iets heel knaps. Een andere flow, maar daarna weer in het zelfde stramien of groove. Ik hoor en zie onbeschrijfelijk veel talent en technische vaardigheden. Maar er is echt niets mis met een mooie melodielijn, een ander thema, een double time of andere akkoorden progressie. 9:08 een groove neerzetten is echt sterk. Maar mijn ongevraagd advies? Iets meer afwisseling. Muziek wint aan kracht dankzij contrast.
