Natural gas will not out as much heat as propane…. No you can set the knobs as high as they go, let it heat up for 30 minutes, and throw a steak on there and get little to no searing.

Hi, great video - You mentioned the 500 Pro has a Stainless Steel top shelve, does this mean the 500 does not? why would Napoleon do that on a top market grill? and if it is chrome, do they offer a stainless steel replacement (what is its part number), Thanks!

@@freakerss I took his word with face value - he is comparing the Prestige Pro with the Prestige, and when he said "Stainless Steel vs Chrome", that is how I took it; why would he mention "Chrome" if no other grill is in the comparison.

I just ordered the Prestige Pro 500 model and immediately after I saw the Prestige 500 Ambiance edition, which aesthetically is a nicer looking BBQ. Aside from the extra Pro model features such as lighting, soft close doors, and the heavier cooking grid, is there much difference in build quality between the two? I assume the 30 lb weight difference comes largely from the lid and cooking base...? With both models having the same limited lifetime warranty it's a tough decision

how did you attatch the smoke pistol to the La Caja China? Their website says nothing about how to do so. Also, how do you know how much smoke is getting in there if its all closed up while cooking?
