Great video, thank you! Do you happen to know how to do it for a 2018-2023 Ford Expedition? Thank you

This is garbage. Impact sensors from different car manufacturers can have very different internal designs. Some have mechanical triggers inside where this resistance testing may work. Others use internal accelerometers in which case resistance testing doesnt work. There may be other types of internal designs where resistance testing may or may not work. It's ignorant to suggest this resistance testing can be used universally on all impact sensors.

FYI I just did it on my 2017 Nissan Sentra no need to take those side pieces off like the vent you can just stick your fingers into that trim piece around the instrument cluster and it comes right off

Sea Foam video says to drive the car to operating temperature, then turn it OFF. The spray is used with the engine off. Also, there's a hot soak and an aggressive drive afterwards. m.kzbin.info/www/bejne/hWaxkI1njJugntE&pp=gAQBiAQB

Filled up gas in my car, a day later the service engine light came on went to look at my gas cap and it was barely on I must’ve forgot to tighten until it clicked, so I took it off and put it back on until it clicked drove a couple miles and it went off, god I just love modern cars

Thank you for the advice. My brother had car in our yard. Lost key and car will not turn over at all before the key got lost. I tried this trick out and it worked. 1999 Nissan versa. Didn't need the pen though. Only needed a flat head screw driver. I suppose if you didn't have flat head though you could try a paint can opener and pen.

However, If I leave it unplugged, with the pin removed as shown in the video, I CAN engage the PTO and it does not shut off.

Great video, very detailed. I was going to take it to someone to get it done but, after watching your video I feel confident enough to do it my self….. my old key wasn’t fat like the one you are talking about with the chip in it. So I think I’ll be alright. Thanks again.

I'm so glad you took a moment to point out that spring mechanism, since it has to be in that exact shape for the fixture to seat back firmly again.

Glad I found this video. Mine came on I think because I removed my gas cap to add some additives while the engine was running. But it’s remained on after tightening gas cap and leaving truck off for several hours. So I disconnected battery after scanning for codes which there were none. So I will find out shortly if that works. I didn’t know it would illuminate red if there’s a serious issue though which is nice to know. The engine is running perfectly so don’t think there’s a problem I hope.

Does your system disconnect when you remove the key since the scanner only works or xonnectsc even the car is in the in position
