Thank you so much! Yes it makes sense. Do you have a specific grade you use the most? Or that you prefer to start with? I use pretty light grade files for filing my natural nails, and some of those have the file, buffer, smooth, shine sides. I have one file that is harder..i feel like one side is slightly harder, but both sides are pretty rough. So thinking that might be a good one to try. Personally it is a bit too rough for my natural nails (all nails are created different) unless you want to file off a bunch quickly. If i use it, I always have to use a finer one to smooth it out or it leaves knicks in my nails. Such a cool tip tho! Thank you! I'm new to wrapping but Ive been doing a lot of your tutorials. Thank you so much! So kind of you to share your skills with us that want to learn. You do an amazing job!

This is a very unique link and versatile. I am trying to build my stash of links and this is another to add. Thank you for sharing. I am wondering if you could help out here. I am USA and so many videos use the mm sizing and many do not give American gauge. I have looked for charts and they get me all mixed up as they read different and I am not good at these numbers.😔 On some spools they have gauge & mm that read different then the charts. Might you, if you find time do a chart with how the gauge & mm are on packaging? Hope I did not confuse the question. Any way thank you for sharing your videos, you do beautiful work.
@KellyJonesJewellery3 күн бұрын
Oh thank you, yes it’s so confusing. There are mm, awg and swg I’m sure there are more too. This is what I use… 0.315mm - 28awg 0.4mm - 26awg 0.5mm - 24awg 0.6mm - 22awg 0.8mm - 20awg 1mm - 18awg 1.2mm - 16awg 1.45 - 14awg Hope that helps ☺️❤️

Hello Kelly, thank you for all the beautiful tutorials you share with us. I was trying to figure out what size of jump rings do you use on this tutorial. 12mm but what gauge do you use.
@KellyJonesJewellery4 күн бұрын
Oh thank you. I use 1.2 mm wire 16awg for all of my jump rings and clasps (and I always buy dead soft copper for everything)👍 hope that helps, have fun ❤️

What a lovely bracelet! Great timing as I just bought a box of mixed size washers because I fancied trying to use them in jewellery. Thank you for another fab tutorial. 💜

I was searching for wire butterflies. I had to get up quickly to help somebody, and I grabbed my phone. I must have hit my phone with the palm of my hand. What luck!!😂😂😂 This video is AAAAAAWWEESSSOOMMMEEEE. I never would have found this video ever. This was pure fate at its best. I was searching for ideas for a keychain component, and needed a third. I've, no joke been stuck for days. Happy accident day to me😂😂😂❤❤❤❤

Sorry I'm late. I love this wrap, but, holding it together with arthritis in the hands is, well, not fun. So I came up with a pretty good idea. After the first wrap around the arrowhead, before making the knot, put a tiny drop of UV resin on the back. Hold it all in place and makes it so much easier. A toohpick pushed slightly under the first loop of the knot makes the second loop slide easily underneath. TIA for the tut.

Thank you so much for another lovely tutorial 💖 You're such an inspiring teacher and designer💖💖 Do you cut your jump rings with a saw and if so what kind of Blade do you use?
@KellyJonesJewellery7 күн бұрын
Oh thanks so much, I use old cutters. I did a video short, you turn the cutters so you get the flush end on both ends of the jump ring. Hope this helps. I'll have to put another video up of jump rings and ear wires etc ,👍👍❤️

I fought your instructions and used a thicker gauge. It was hard to make and didn't look good. I made jump rings out of that wire and that was perfect. I'll go into my stash and get 20 🕊🕊🕊
