About to go there soon, this video is the best one I’ve seen! Lots of valuable info for us to plan on. Really appreciate your time and effort and all the little beaches you bring to light. Way Helpful! We will be bringing our dog too, a little chihuahua. So people can comment what they like about focusing too much on the dog. But I get it… we would do the same! Many years ago, my family lived in a house on Mckechnie ave and our backyard backed onto this park... In the early 70's there were resevoirs built up behind our house in the park... The tennis courts are on the top slab of the resevoirs... I don't remember any " organised" trails cut into the park at that time

It’s been a few years since I’ve been out there but I’m sure the bus is going to be one of the cheaper ways to make the journey. I heard there’s a train out there now but can’t confirm it.

I always find it’s easiest to get the local currency, especially if some places or transit don’t expect anything but cash. plus it’s less likely you’ll get ripped off on the exchange but I’m sure most places will accept USD.

Seven things to do in Ashcroft? Nope, two. Enter/leave. I read about how there was once a shoot out on the old bridge! Ya, word was bank robbers were escaping on a raft. I believe one was shot but the other guy got away down river. Biggest news for Ashcroft was the arrival of J Low and Robert Redford shooting a movie there. You missed mentioning that!

Eagle bluff is easier to get to/find parking. Tunnel bluff is more dramatic but both views you can’t beat.
