In most countries is it ok to drink alcohol if you are of age… but overall be mindful of the culture you travel in
@Darkentic72 ай бұрын
Lived in the Dubai since I was born I can sadly say people hug and hold hands all the time also people smoke everywhere sad and people dress whatever they want never seen any rules forbidding anything with clothes
@Darkentic72 ай бұрын
Also food courts and reassurances are open during Ramadan so non Muslim people still eat in the public
@TravelBays2 ай бұрын
I have noticed that the rules regarding eating are more loose the last few years 👍
@alaaghazaleh8037Ай бұрын
Also during ramadan I see many people eating infront of my eyes not bothering themselves to hide it when passing me . But I think drinking alcohol in public isn't that strict now since it happens a lot . The UAE is the type of muslim country that allows pork and alcohol. And disrespecting thier religion is an extremely sensitive topic and I just wanna say DO NOT respect thier religion .

The kids pool, for the small children is still open. Apx 40 cm deep. There is another area of the regular pool, where it's 80 cm deep. Something for all the children.

Great video, a couple of questions, does the pool has much shaded areas? Any slides in the pools? Also the poolside ice-cream and drinks, and pizza at lunch are they both extra? Thank you
@TravelBays2 ай бұрын
Hi Jay! There are plenty of umbrella's by the sunbeds. So you can create the amount of shade you need :) The hotel is working on a waterpark area with slides, but it won't open until 2025. So no water slides in 2024. But the hotel is fairly priced due to construction - but we didn't feel it was a bother with a bit of noise. The poolside restaurant are extra. Quick tip: If you use the App Careem - you can order takeaway, drinks and icecream at supermarket prices ;-) My best Dubai Hack ;-)

Workers are treated badly, no safety in construction. I was talking to some workers at the hotel, they had no supplies to clean the restrooms and the floors, and they were treated like a lesser race. I speak Arabic but because I don’t look Middle Easterner and of course I was a tourist, however dressed very conservative, men were making comments in Arabic and then I would reply in Arabic so annoying. Anyway it’s Arizona on steroids and of course typical hypocritical Muslims who are giving the rest of the Muslim people a bad rep.
