And after the world war when they were no longer needed they sold them and people started scrambling with the scramblers and boom motocross was created. So yeah dirtbike actually originated from the army and war in the first place!!! Scrambler style motorcycles were used in World War II to quickly and surreptitiously travel deep into enemy territory.
