little tips, don't button mash if you're not fighting a crowd, as you can see in this clip it got you guard broken quite a few times and it might be more punishable on later bosses. Second of all, a thing about deflecting. if you ever fought genichiro you'd notice that landing a parry on him gives you priority over him to land a hit. That applies to almost all humanoid enemies, keep hitting them until you get parried which will give the enemy priority to get a hit on you. obviously this won't apply to when an enemy uses a hyperamor move right after getting parried but those are usually obvious

Lone shadows are in fact very predictable. Try not to back off too much. Instead, stay aggressive. They have two perilous attacks. One is a turning kick, which is considered a sweep attack and can be countered by jumping onto his head. The other one is a forward kick which is considered a thrust attack and can be countered by Mikiri.

Woah woah woah, stop spamming deflect. It's ok to panic spam but ur spamming constantly. I really recommend learning the timing.

i have learned the timing now. i still spam it some times depending on the attack pattern because it works. spamming isn't an issue tbh as long as you still get it right. but on chamrless that i am doing now it is much more punishing to miss a deflect. blocking means that your posture most likely breaks and you die on the next attack

i want to do all bindings for 100 if i make it (believe me it is infinitely harder than it sounds even on attuned) but i am also considering stopping this series at 100, it was fun while it lasted lol
