I’ve been using the edwin jagger de89 for 11 years, and I’ve never used another safety razor. Going to order this one because I really want something stainless steel or brass. I’m hoping it goes well. Great video!

The Edwin Jagger is a great razor. I have one myself. If I get irritation, I go back to it and Irritation is gone. I like to keep my brass shiny, what do you like?

I was at SBSW last year getting my retirement papers in order. What fun that was. The great thing about the barbershop category, is the wide latitude of interpretation. Without question the Gamechanger 0.84 is my favorite DE.

Man, do you ever have any growth on your face? I find my shaves more enjoyable when I have at least two days’ growth. You look like you’re just moving the soap off your face and not cutting anything! Nice technique and prep though and good to see you back on air.

I have the soap and I have to say that you're right it's such a unique and complex sent phenomenal. I like their base too first time purchase for me. I originally bought the soap for Bourdain and the Ramones 😂

@@dougiesshavin1627 he was a great writer. I like the way he tells stories. I seen one of the Ramones in Pittsburgh ages ago at a tribute show and didn't even know it was one of them sitting at the end of the bar they weren't performing he was just there. This was like 15 or 20 years ago

Very nice shave. That razor looks like a keeper. We are foodies in my house, so I've got food for a month. My plants are either in the garage or covered. Even Friendswood will freeze. Stay warm brother.

This oil is tacky, it lowers glideness of the blade. It smells good though. Not worth the money in my opinion.

Great shave Doug, I love vintage Gillette. I have the British Rocket Flare-tip 1959 and the British Rocket HD 1950’s both are still great shaves.
