Nice work. Until you get the hole punch sharpener, it does help to strop the outside. On the larger ones, you can take some rolled up, fine grit sandpaper and lightly knock off the burs.

how do you know the holes will line up?
@RobersonLeather
@RobersonLeather 4 ай бұрын
When you mark your stitch line let 1 tooth from your iron/punch hang over the edge so the holes should all start about the same spot on each stitch line. Hopefully that makes sense. If you send me a dm on FB or Instagram I can try and send a quick video explaining it.

Thanks! Really appreciate it! The card is basically a credit card sized piece of brass. Each corner has a different radius (.25.50.75.etc) and also has various size curves inside.

Hi, I made exactly the same stitching pony by copying this model. But I have a little problem, I would like to use a spring like this one (more practical and prettier than classic springs), I ordered some yellow springs for 3D printers but they are too stiff I think. If you have a caliper, can you tell me what the internal diameter, the external diameter and the length of the spring? Is it made of metal or plastic? Thanks

@@RobersonLeather Mine is 20mm long... 25mm should be less stiff. Thanks!
@Stavroguine826

@@RobersonLeather Actually springs like this one doesn't exist, OD is always ID x 2. That's what I was I thinking, Dream Factory must customise their springs by enlarging the ID with a drill a something else. So the bolt that goes inside this spring as a diameter of 9 or 8mm ? One last question, is the thickness of the clamp 30mm or a bit larger? From what I saw on videos I thought they have used the same plywood layer thickness for the whole stitching but maybe I'm wrong. Now I'm doing the small one model for my niece. Thanks
@RobersonLeather
@RobersonLeather Жыл бұрын
The bolt diameter for mine is 7.80mm. And the clamp width is about 30mm
