I have been using my TV as a monitor since about 2012 with no problem. Total lies like Traitor trump.

Video didn't claim you cannot use the TV as monitor for long-term. It just tells it's not a good choice for intense workflow

your problem is you're within arms length is why you're having headaches etc. I have mine mounted on the wall in front of my bed with a lapboard set up so I'm a good 10 feet away (got a 55") as I use my computer attached to it to game with, You always want to have your tv in game mode on your computer with freesync enabled and has a special PC mode to for the input.

It's true I relatively sit closer to the display. But, that's mainly because I have to due to my works with editing video and motion graphics. If I sit far away, it's hard for me to work with the softwares I am using. 👍

@@AmazingVibes1000 ASUS ProArt Display PA247CV Should be the best option. Other monitors (most) do not support daisy chain option to connect multiple monitors at once. Even if the daisy chain fails with display port, you can connect all the monitors through USB-C port with one another which should work well with Mac.

Informative. I use a 27 in 5k Apple Studio Display with nano glass as my primary and an old faithful Dell P2715Q 4K as my secondary all driven my a Mac Mini M1 or MBP16. The price premium of the Apple studio display is very clear on build quality, sound system and superb noise cancelling mics for video conferencing. It also doubles as an excellent TV in my study. Amazing with Apple TV content and emulation of Dolby Atmos or spacial audio. I’ve had it since launch when it was hard to source during the start of the pandemic. It’s used every day and is the best overall choice for a professional Mac set up.

When comparing MA320U and RD320U from benq First one is 99% sRGB, 97% P3 and the other one is 98% P3 It seemed to me that the second one is better, but the first one is recommended to be the same colors as mac display. So I think I am wrong, how to reason about this ? + Will i see the difference ?

@@7pri2 RD320 is slightly a better display, but you won't notice much difference in practical use. Both monitors are as good as the other one. RD320 has better port selection, if that's something you are looking for.
