I own 12 buggies but I think I will get a rally car next I’m Starting to like them more and more, any suggestions?

@jaradgoodwin649 i would get one of the newer ones , atlest if you gonna drive it alot , cheaper and easier to get parts . And just find a car you like and would recommend 4wd 😁 2wd are cool and "correct " for some of them , but much harder to drive ofc 😁😁

😁 TT02 is ok , the tt01 isn't very good 😕 not a big fan of any of them 😵‍💫 but that's my personal opinion 😉 XV-01 and XV-02 is good 👍

Nice collection! I'm like you, not a racer but i do enjoy the race kits. I got my XXX-CR back in 07. It was my first 2WD race buggy, first brushless setup and first experience with lipo batteries. The technology was so advanced to what i had used in the 90's and early 2000's. Was running an LRP Sphere Competition, LRP Vector X-11 5.5t brushless motor and a 6000mah 2s lipo. It was absolutely ballistic for the time. 80km/h all day and it loved to wheelie if you were too aggressive on the throttle. Before seeing this video i was prepared to let my XXX-CR go but now i'm reconsidering it. ☺☺

I got a Nichimo Luminous 4wd from 88' too 👍 My original tyres are broken, so witch type of tyres can you recommend to buy since the original don't exist anymore?

That cool 👍😊 Not sure about what tires you can use 🤔 I read that some people use the Tamiya spike tires , think same as on the Avante and the Hotshot and super Hotshot. Would think some Schumacher tires also can be used 🤔

About 38 years ago, i purchased Tamiya Ford Ranger F150 (xlt?) new in box, It was 90%-97% identical to my friends "Super Champ". As i recall the body was all clear transparent lexan (polycarbonate). I don't recall ever having a driver person for the body. The front of chassis as i recall had a horizontal tube with plastic molded end covers and molded into a plastic piece which bolted to chassis plate, possibly 4 bolts through fiberglass. The most inteiguing feature was that it had a two piece battery, electronix containment box which was more or less waterproof, it had rubber grommets for stering rod to slide through, the box attached to chassis with a "well-nut" essntialy a cylindrical chunk of soft rubber with a threaded brass insert, it fit slightly loose into a cylindrical standoff or bosse molded into the underside of the transparent lexan electronix chassis box. When the allen screw head is tightened beneath it swells up and locks everything down with minimal danger of cracking anything. Basicly at the time broke a coupple bumpers, control arms and rod snap connectors for servo horn. I used a futuba radio set, it used a what reminds me of a primitive type resistance type speed control, primitive just f, rev,hi, lo controlled with proportional servo head movement. 7.2v NiCad I liked it alot

I've just got back into the hobby and have bought a manta ray for my first build in around 20 years. When I bought it I thought everything was adjustable such as the camber but it's not. Would the front and rear shock towers and upper arms from this car or the top force fit my car? Also would the body's be interchangeable because I'm not too keen on the Manta Ray body.

Amazing a 1986 vintage car still works. That one looks really good. I really want to get one that rides smoothly to use as a camera car. Maybe you could recommend a smooth riding vehicle for me to mount a DJI action 4 on for some good car shoots. Cheers

Thanks JR 👍 😊 yes it's really cool , later I make a video of the Nichimo Luminous, releast about the same time and it's 100% perfect 😊😄 Soo many rc coming from China, probably almost every car is built there now days . And they have different names, but many the same anyway . You should look for one with large tires and good suspension. I would go to a shopping center and they probably sell rc cars . And get a ready to run . Quality wise it's difficult to say , but should get a decent one for 100-150 $ .

Very interesting design, not sure about track performance. I think one of the newer Tamiya chassis has a high motor position (MB01 ?). Finding parts is very difficult, like Hirobo, Marui, AYK, .... Maybe in some facebook groups 👀 Will you run it (carefully obviously) ? Nichimo had some advanced cars, like you mentioned the Spirit FF (FWD) and the Midships/Exceed (4WD and 4WS and 3 diffs) 😮 And where's the snow 🧐 ? Take care and thanks for that review 👍🤝

@coygtrc Thanks my friend 👍😊 sure is rare and interesting, and yes it's probably not the best handling car 😄. Yes that's true that in the Mb01 you can place the motor high . I will probably try it carefully later , just need to figure out why the old radio and reciver didn't work , maybe just wrong crystals. The snow is here now ❄️ i shot this video about 2-3 months ago , just hasn't uploaded it before now 😁 i try to mix up the videos, soo one running ,then maybe a review of a rallycar and then a monster truck . I upload it when it was finished , always do that , but keep it "private " and then it goes further and further down on my list , so i almost forgot it 😅 soo if you see a video without snow ⛄️ that's why 😁😁

Driving in the ❄️ snow is very cool . But it has to be the right amount of snow , too much and it's useless 😕 Maybe a 1 or 2 inch is perfect. Soo if you have a chance to go where it's snow , you definitely should 😁👍

Hello 👋 you have to translate this . I have not protected anything, not the esc , the servo or reciver . The avante is kind of closed off , not much space between the body and the undertray. When I'm finished driving . I shake off as much snow as I can , when I come home , I take off the body and undertray and shake it again , sometimes use a little brush to take away the snow. And the Just let it sit and dry .

@ Hello！ I am honored that you answered my question. I see that AVANTE has excellent snow and dust protection even in NORMAL, and the aftercare is perfect! Avante is a rare and expensive machine in Japan, and you don't see it very often, but it looks like the avante on the snow in Norway is happy to have found an owner like you!

@pkjack591 Thank you 😊 I'm very happy that people in Japan watch my videos . And yes the Avante is expensive here too . I use it alot , such a great car and I take care of it . I'm lucky to have one new in box too and the Avante Black Special too. My dream is to one day to come to Japan and see all the beautiful things .

Now you have an Avante "White Edition" 😅 I was reluctant to take my Super Clodbuster in the snow and you, you take an Avante 😮 Well done 👏 I am struggling too to drive one-handed, so I try to tape the recording device on the transmitter (even so I'm not used to follow the car with the radio). Ohyess my friend 😁👍 it was a white edition for a while, took it inside soo now it's blue again 😁😁 Not really hade any issues when I drove them in the snow , but can ofc get some light rust on some metal parts 😬 and not good for some bearings . Just shake of the worst snow and take it inside and let it dry on a towel or something. Not any problems with the electronics, maybe because the avante is kind of protected inside the body . Yes I seen camera holders for the transmitter , need to look more into that 😁

Nice body. While the decals are showing TA04 Pro, it looks more like a TA04 TRF (49278), but with black carbon (from a TRF414 ?) instead of the silver SSG carbon 😮 👍🤝

Thanks my friend 👍😊 you are probably right , I got it looong time ago , and I remember I changes some parts on it , but I can't remember what 😁 and it was a kind of " custom" build when I got it . I will compare to the TRF (with the nice ssg chassis)👍😁 I got a lot of 414 and TA04 parts and it probably a mix 😁😁
