I'd say it's very simple: Being left handed is something you don't really have any control over. You can train with your right hand to do specifik things, like writing, but your innate preference seems to always be the left hand. Being left handed doesn't hurt or have any effect on anyone else. Being left handed near others doesn't turn them left handed. Being left handed doesn't prevent you from doing some things or influence your personality. If we teach people to view left-handedness as a flaw such that left handed people become shunned or worse, is it really sensible to fix that by trying to stop people being left handed? Isn't it more reasonable to just stop teaching people that it's a flaw? Catch my drift?

I wish it was that simple. Honestly, I would have preferred it. There are so many variables that must be considered. If I believe in scripture it's not just an add on to my life. It becomes me. And when I find the truth that brings joy, life, happiness and I keep it for myself it is selfish almost evil. This is my truth and I share it cause I want others to walk in it as well.

@@DanielPrinsloo I see the point of withholding the message being almost evil from your point of view, that makes sense. To me however it seems absurd that a creator would care about something so arbitrary as being LGBTQ, just as it would be absurd if this creator condemned being left handed. There were, and strangely enough still are, christians that view being left handed as bad, citing the bible. There are other things from the bible that are explained away and that are no longer followed (not mixing fabrics comes to mind). If god is a god of love, surely he would have no problems with how LGBTQ folks express their love since they hurt no one? You even seem to agree that they are no threat, but indicate that the bible makes things complicated. Be careful not to worship a text rather than uphold an ideal.
