You can never be sure to see the Northern lights but Reine is an epic place anyways! 🤠 There was ice on the Reinebringen trail when we were there in early November so we didn’t do it, but I guess if you are well equipped I don’t think it closes during the winter… but I might be wrong so to be checked 😉 Enjoy your trip!!

Hello, thank you for your comment! Early November there was snow on some parts of the main road but it was OK to drive on it with the SUV. If you plan late November / December I cannot tell.

Hello, thank you for your comment! Our trip was during the 1st days of November 2023. For end of November, good question, I guess yes a bit less daylight for walking, probably a bit more snow so trickier on the road, but I'm sure that this even quieter and low-light atmosphere might be nice to experience, with nice landscape photography opportunities and also theoretically more opportunities to chase Northern lights. So, pros and cons ;) I hope it helped.

I don't know much about other topics but in Europe there are probably opportunities in structural materials also, for aerospace or construction. You can type "Materials Scientist" or "Materials Engineer" or even "Chemist" on Indeed or LinkedIn to see what kind of companies recruits. Hope it helps!
