Good knowledge thanks for the info. I think mine needs flushed even though it doesn't have an over heating problem. It just looks to me as if it needs the system flushed out when the antifreeze is drained so I think I'll go ahead and try this before there is an issue. I'll let you know my results of what I get flushed out of my 2002 SL1.

I had bought some plastic " razor blades and scraper" It worked perfectly and no damage to paint. Verify helpful. I had the erasure pads in my Amazon cart and cancelled them after the heat gun worked so well. About 5 seconds per letter/number for me.

Ether washes the old grease out of the cones efficiently . The inexpensive durable grease packers do a fantastic job ! Install the seal with a flat plate of steel . Amazon sales a selection of grease packers .
