For the panels do you buy a floater frame the same size as the canvas panel? Thanks for your help.

Can a person paint over the linen liner if they want it to match the color of the rest of the wood frame?

Great presentation on dust cover. Question. Have done bead wall art and in frame with no backboard . The fasteners did not stay. Could I tape it by taping back frame to my foam board tightly. Foam board does fit snuggly in frame.

For an art panel I’d order a cradle or use double sided tape to stick down riser blocks (or screw from back) then use the same tape to mount panel to blocks. That panel looked way too deep. so, great first half of video, second half not so much. Additionally, flat panels for smaller paintings look better to me without canvas so why not glue the cradle sized appropriately (flush four sides) to the panel before painting the when done it can be screwed down like a regular canvas. My 2 cents worth.

NEVER snap your tape measure. It will ultimately make you tape measure unreliable.

No, not wrong. There are all sorts of tools you could use for this job - and if, like me, you're watching this because you just have one picture to reframe, it makes no sense to buy a quite expensive new tool for the job that you'll never use again. I can think of plenty of "tools" I've already got that could work fine - from the obvious screwdriver or chisel, to a much wider plastic scraper (from a £ shop - dirt cheap) to the handle end of a kitchen spoon to an old plastic washing-up brush (cut/shape the handle end, cut off the bristles - it's a similar shape to the Fletcher tool but much bigger - easier to grip, better control, more power). As the old saying goes, "there's more than one way to skin a cat". Whatever works for you. Thanks for the video - it was all I needed.
