I am a shredder used and i am just gonna say this: i do not know how this is good against shredders. This is only practical against swarms and even then there is better ways yo counter swarms. Also the main thing u need is accuracy especially when a shredder has opened weak spots.

The thing about a spread missile pattern is a higher likelyhood of hitting your target with at least one rocket by just aiming on the general direction of your target, which depending on the shredder type could cripple your target after a couple hits
