One of these groups have been forced into poverty, unfair working environments, discrimination, and hate crimes, while the other is given fair working environments, high pay, and is doing the discrimination and hate crimes. Also if you think Disney should be honoring the roots of every story they adapt then I expect you to have a lot to say about Mulan

@@gandpork I have a lot to say about all Disney adaptations of old fairytales and stories. One main one for like 100% of them is the changing of the entire story to be a happy go lucky one, and another complaint is that most "Disney princesses" are in their original stories children, between 10-17 years old.

@@roteberg1 i think children, the target audience, are fine without it being grim. and we are all better off with the age differences too, especially when it comes to *the romantic parts of it*. The original tales exist for those that want them. Adaptations are not necessarily made as exact representations of the source material either, even if you were adapting to the correct target audience. A book isn't a movie. But to the topic at hand, @gandpork is right. Not only that, but raceswapping to white has been done for ages. If any anime or game has adapted japanese characters to have english names, guess what that is (Persona 1 has both white washing and making a character black in the most racist way). April O'Neil was seen as white only by one of her cocreators, Bass Reeves was possibly the inspiration for The Lone Ranger, Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are originally romani... even Le Guin fought tooth and nail to have her dark skinned characters represented as not white and couldn't do it - she had to refuse covers with people on them because publishers didn't want to bet on covers with dark skinned characters. So people are protective of what little representation they have. And for those that hate it, again, the original movies still exist. White washing has happened for ages. People are now becoming aware and calling it out because of both representation and what it does to non white actors. I don''t trust Disney to do these adaptations with pure intentions, but I am glad more actors of color are getting the spotlight.

Yes i understand the logic you are applying in terms of intelligence or battle IQ being a factor a lot more in Naruto compared to other shows. The problem is that when you do VS battles with Naruto Characters fighting non-naruto characters, they lack the information of any techinque in Naruto and thus certain abilities that might not be as effective in the Naruto verse will be game-changers in other fights

@@TheOldWeeb not exactly my point. There is an overemphasis on power and abilities. Not much thought goes beyond X is too strong or Y abilities doesn't matchup well. It's kind of boring to think so unimaginitively about how a fight might go. In truth, its not the character's battle intelligence that we need to look at, i am saying its more about the way we use our own to explore the likely possibilities of their abilities, and what it takes to exploit weaknesses. Then try to figure out if they can do those things. The truth is the best way to figure out how any matchup might go, you have to almost think, " if i had these abilities, how would i go about the fight." Without examining this, all you are doing is a weird combination of comparing percieve power levels and playing rock paper scissors, which is boringly straight forward but totally lacking in how a fighter might process a situation where they seemingly have a disadvantage.

@TheOldWeeb well, scenes from various anime are a bit low quality, for example naruto scenes from the intro, tokyo ghoul scene from 1:08, spy x family right after that as well there are many scenes that fall in this category and the main issue is that there are scenes that look crisp and the contrast between them is what makes them stand out. i really loved the one piece parts from the intro, those looked amazing. i think they are a good standard to have in mind keep up the good work!! i will be here for the next video as well
